🚨 THERE’S A PROBLEM WITH THE WAY YOU IMAGINE THE SOLAR SYSTEM…
And you probably won’t notice it until you see this.
We’re taught to picture the planets going around the Sun like a perfectly organized clock.
But there’s one thing that picture hides:
The entire system is moving.
The Sun is travelling through the Milky Way, carrying the planets with it.
Which means something strange is happening to your location in space every second.
You can spend an entire year on Earth and end up back in roughly the same part of your orbit around the Sun…
…but you don’t return to the same place in the galaxy.
So where exactly did Earth go?
And where will it be after your next birthday?
🌌 Watch the movement first. Then let that question sink in.
This is why I’m building Our Visible Universe — so you can explore the Solar System, Milky Way, Andromeda and many other galaxies from perspectives that static diagrams can’t show.
🔭 Explore the universe → Link in bio.
Now look around you.
You’re somewhere in the universe that will never be exactly the same again.

You were taught the Solar System wrong. ☀️🌍
Most of us imagine the Solar System as a simple diagram.
The Sun sitting in the middle.
Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars and the other planets calmly going around it in neat circles.
But that picture leaves out something enormous.
The Sun is moving too.
Our entire Solar System is orbiting the center of the Milky Way at roughly 828,000 kilometers per hour.
And Earth is moving with it.
So while Earth is orbiting the Sun, the Sun itself is carrying the planets, asteroids, comets and other objects of the Solar System through the galaxy.
We aren't tracing the same path through space over and over again.
Our entire planetary system is traveling.
Think about that.
Earth is spinning on its axis.
Earth is orbiting the Sun.
The Sun is orbiting the center of the Milky Way.
And the Milky Way itself is moving through the universe.
There is no true cosmic picture where everything is simply sitting still.
Even the objects that look stationary from our perspective are part of enormous movements happening on completely different scales.
NASA estimates that our Solar System takes about 230 million years to complete one trip around the center of the Milky Way.
The last time the Solar System was in roughly this position in its galactic orbit...
humans didn't exist.
Dinosaurs were still millions of years in the future.
And now you're here...
reading this while traveling through space at hundreds of thousands of kilometers per hour.
You don't feel it because you're moving along with everything around you.
The universe isn't standing still.
Neither are we.

The post by @forcetofuture features a 33-second CGI animation titled "How The Solar System Moves In Space" that depicts Earth's spin, the Sun's motion, and the resulting helical paths of the planets. The video contrasts the common flat orbital diagram with a dynamic 3D view, showing planets spiralling forward as the entire solar system travels at around 500,000 mph through space while orbiting the Milky Way.
This visualisation accurately reflects the Sun's galactic orbit at roughly 220 km/s, where gravity maintains planetary paths as combined circular and linear motion, creating corkscrew trajectories.
🌌 From the vast MULTIVERSE to the tiniest building blocks of matter, this visual highlights the incredible hierarchy of existence in a single glance.
🔭 Every level represents a different scale, showing how everything is interconnected—from galaxies and planets to communities, people, cells, atoms, and beyond.
🧬 It reminds us that no matter how small or large something appears, each layer plays a unique role in the structure of reality.
💡 This infographic is a fascinating way to explore science, astronomy, biology, and physics while appreciating the immense complexity of the cosmos.
🚀 Whether you're passionate about space, curious about the microscopic world, or simply love learning, this scale offers a fresh perspective on our place in the grand picture.

How Long Would a NASA Rocket Take to Reach Each Planet? 🚀🌍 How long would it actually take a NASA rocket to reach the planets from Earth? 🚀 It’s not just about speed — it’s about perfect timing, planetary alignment, and smart trajectory planning. When NASA launched the Mars 2020 mission, carrying the Perseverance rover, it took about 7 months to reach Mars. That’s because Earth and Mars have to be in the right position for the shortest and most fuel-efficient path. Here’s roughly how long it takes to reach each planet (using past NASA missions as reference): Mercury – ~6 to 7 years (like MESSENGER, which used gravity assists) Venus – ~3 to 5 months Mars – ~6 to 9 months Jupiter – ~5 to 6 years Saturn – ~7 years (like Cassini–Huygens) Uranus – ~8 to 15 years (estimated) Neptune – ~12+ years (Voyager 2 took about 12 years) The outer planets take years not because rockets are slow — but because space is unimaginably vast. Space travel isn’t just a race of speed. It’s a dance with gravity, precision, and patience. 🌌 © all the rights and credits are reserved to the respective owners. Follow 👉
Over 13.8 billion years ago, the entire universe was packed into a single, infinitely dense and hot point. More than just a simple explosion, the Big Bang was the literal expansion of space and time itself, giving birth to the stars, galaxies, and planets we see today. 🪐✨
What do you think? Will the universe keep expanding forever? Let me know below! 👇

Jupiter in Leo makes everything bigger and bolder. Whatever Jupiter touches will enhance the symbolism of the planet. Jupiter is touching all the outer planets which will undoubtedly have a huge ripple effect. The outer planets represent major societal changes. These planets, including Jupiter, are all at 4 degrees:
•♌️ Jupiter: 4 degrees Leo
•♒️ Pluto: 4 degrees Aquarius
•♈️Neptune: 4 degrees Aries
•♊️ Uranus: 4 degrees Gemini
Jupiter is connecting the dots by aspecting all these influential planets and enhancing the potency of these outer planets. This isn’t just an alignment, it’s a cosmic amplification. This is powerful. This ripple effect will change society as we know it. I am unsure how this will manifest but life is accelerating rapidly.
Do you have any personal planets or angles at 4 degrees? If so, what part of your chart do they sit? What will get amplified for you?
