The city of Olympia is drafting an ordinance to extend legal protections against discrimination to families beyond the traditional nuclear structure, such as polyamorous and other diverse family structures. The proposed ordinance would add "family or relationship structure" as a protected category under the city's existing civil rights protections. just because i **can** doesn’t mean i **will**. queerness is fluid. it can evolve, deepen, shift over time…and that doesn’t make it any less real. i still identify as bisexual (and politically, queer feels most aligned for me). but i’ve found that actually **doing life** with a cis het man is notttt for me. and that’s not confusion. that’s clarity. attraction doesn’t automatically equal alignment. and i’ve learned the difference. give me black women, black genderqueer folk, understanding, shared living experiences, and deep emotional intelligence every single time 🫶🏾✨ - Bri 🧡 #queer #queerlove #blackqueerjoy #polyamory #fluidity
