MEDIA LAUNCH | Yesterday we hosted a full day media preview touring the five venues of the latest edition of the Biennale of Sydney. Titled ‘Rememory’ and curated by Artistic Director Hoor Al Qasimi, the 25th Biennale of Sydney showcases art from Australia and around the world, exploring themes of migration, exile and belonging, with particular attention to First Nations stories and the voices of diasporic communities that shape Australia today. With over 143 artworks by 83 artists and collectives from 37 countries and territories, including 15 First Nations artists from around the world commissioned as part of the partnership with Fondation Cartier pour l’art contemporain, the edition delves into global themes that connect us. The works unfold across five venues: Art Gallery of New South Wales, Campbelltown Arts Centre, Chau Chak Wing Museum at the University of Sydney, Lewers: Penrith Regional Gallery and White Bay Power Station. The 25th Biennale of Sydney: Rememory opens this weekend, running from 14 March to 14 June 2026. @Biennalesydney @Fondationcartier @whitebaypowerstation @ccwm_sydney @penrithregionalgallery @campbelltownartscentre @artgalleryofnsw
