We did it Dani!!!!! Doing the “Stamper Style” is not easy. I don’t think you understand that you have created your own dance language and style. I can’t wait to see more in the stands!! 𝐉-𝐒𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 - a style of dance popularized by the Prancing J-Settes (the collegiate danceline of Jackson State University’s Sonic Boom of the South marching band) originated in the 1970s from African-Americans in the Jackson, Mississippi, area of the United States and is characterized by a lead and follow format where one dancer initiates a series of high-energy dance moves, and the other dancers join in the movement. Choreographer @frankgatson is credited with introducing the J-Setting dance style to Beyoncé in 2008 as a concept for her hit music video for the song “Single Ladies”. Today, the J-Setting dance form has taken root in popular culture inspiring thousands of dance teams, hit TV shows, and Beyoncé’s legendary 2018 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival performance. . . #theeilove #sbots #jsu #jacksonstate #marchingband #cfb #hbcu #swac #hbcubands #hbcupride #music #lildurk #gunna #bandheads #swac #swacbands #jsettes #prancingjsettes
