Grading Return — Episode 1 📦 This submission cost $365 in grading fees, so the real question was simple: Did the grades actually pay off? Most of these cards were pre-inspected before sending in, so the expectation was mainly PSA 9s with outside chances at 10s. But grading is always a gamble when the upside of a 10 is on the table. We tracked the profit / loss card by card to see if this submission actually made sense. PSA results are finally back 🙌 This was my 3rd submission since I started buying raw cards on eBay to grade — and definitely my best one so far. 🔥 9 PSA 10s out of 17 cards. Scizor and Flygon were the ones I was most nervous about… glad they came through 😮‍💨 Still learning every submission, but the process is getting better. First I picked out the cards with the best centering and the least imperfections (already stored in penny sleeves). Next I switched them from top loaders into Card Savers (PSA requires these for submissions). Then I went on the PSA website to log each card, put them in grading order, and printed my submission form. After that I drove to Jersey City for the PSA drop-off event. Parking was honestly the hardest part 😅 Jersey City has very little street parking so I had to find a paid garage. The PSA drop-off location was in an amazing area and the office itself was really nice. Now comes the hardest part… waiting patiently for the grades to come back. Anyone else waiting on PSA returns right now? #PokemonCards #PSA #PSAGrading #PokemonTCG #CardCollecting
