More Complicated Than It Looks... Unboxing Rolex's Sky-Dweller
We're unboxing Rolex's Sky-Dweller, here with a mint green dial and Jubilee bracelet.
The Sky-Dweller is a real powerhouse. Ringed around the centre is a dual time zone indicator, like a GMT-Master II bezel, but set into the dial. At the end of each hour marker lies a hint to the watch’s further complexity: little windows, with one in red, to indicate the month—and that’s because this thing’s also an annual calendar.
But the craziest thing is that the whole 42mm watch is set by one crown, with each function—time, GMT and calendar—selected with the rotating bezel.

This is a 26 x 44mm rose gold rectangular dress watch with a boxy sapphire crystal, through which you can see a beautifully finished grooved dial that boasts two intersecting dials, with the top displaying the hours and the bottom the seconds.
Equally beautiful is the Calibre 7040, which is visible through the aforementioned open caseback.
This is an unusual but handsome Rolex, and although this model is now discontinued, you'll still find it for around £12,250.

First up, we have a very special Tudor Black Bay 58, released commemorate Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee in 2022 and offered to the RaSP, the Royalty and Specialist Protection Unit of London’s Metropolitan Police.
