Train vs Luxury Bus: What I’ve Learned Traveling to Busan 
Sharing all the pros and cons I’ve experienced taking both KORAIL and the intercity bus! If you want a deeper dive into the bus ride, check out my previous video — I go into way more detail there. Important Notes:
– My KORAIL ticket was more expensive because I booked last minute and chose a higher fare time. Prices can vary a lot depending on when and what class you book.
– The bus shown in my video is the Excellent bus, but I recommend booking the Premium one! Premium buses have an outlet at every seat and an overall upgraded experience. I enjoyed my ride, but based on videos and your comments, Premium is on another level.
– Klook and the official KORAIL site offer the same prices. I just prefer Klook because I like having all my tickets in one place. Use code jinabaobina on KLOOK for a little discount if you book! 🚆KORAIL (High-Speed Train) Pros:
• Fastest option — ~2.5 hours to Busan
• Onboard bathrooms
• No traffic delays Cons:
• Can be pricey (especially last minute)
• Limited baggage space
• Outlets only available in certain rows
• Big stations can be hectic (but late-night trains are often empty!) 🚌Intercity Bus (Luxury/Express) Pros:
• Cheaper than the train
• Reclining, wider seats = more comfort
• Easy baggage process
• Outlet at every seat (Premium bus)
• Bus stations often have amazing shopping — I wish I had more time to explore! Cons:
• Slower ride — around 4 hours
• No bathroom on board. There is a restroom break halfway through! KORAIL Tips: 1. Book early (like a month ahead) for better prices 2. You can book through Klook — no markup 3. Eat before you board! Seoul and Busan stations have some amazing food (check my recs in the video!) 4.
