Donald Trump, wearing a "Trump 2028" cap, said he plans to run again in the 2028 U.S. presidential election. He declared, "I've won three times, and I'll become president again for a fourth term. I'll be a thorn in my enemies' side."

Questions surrounding the 2024 U.S. presidential election continue to spark debate after claims surfaced that Elon Musk may have known about Donald Trump’s victory hours before major news networks officially projected the results.
During an episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, Joe Rogan claimed Musk had access to a specialized app providing highly accurate real-time election data ahead of public projections. Rogan said Dana White told him Musk confidently stated, “It’s over. Donald won,” nearly four hours before networks called the race.
Reports also claim that several Democratic lawmakers are pushing for a bipartisan investigation into Musk’s alleged early access to election information, including possible subpoenas related to the app, X platform algorithms, and internal communications involving Tesla.
Additional speculation emerged after author Ashley St. Clair alleged Musk mentioned an “anomaly in the matrix” tied to Starlink satellites before the election and later texted her on election night claiming he already knew the outcome.
Meanwhile, cybersecurity analyst Stephen Spoonamore and other election skeptics have raised concerns about irregular voting patterns in several battleground states. However, no official evidence has confirmed widespread fraud capable of altering the 2024 election outcome, and election officials have continued to certify the results.
Speaking in Michigan on August 21, Sen. Elissa Slotkin argued that Americans should take seriously the possibility of another fight over the results of a presidential election.
Her warning comes from her own experience in the aftermath of the 2020 election and January 6, 2021, when efforts to overturn Joe Biden’s victory culminated in the attack on the U.S. Capitol.
But Slotkin’s concern in 2026 goes beyond January 6.
She has been raising questions about election security, mail-in voting, the U.S. Postal Service, federal law enforcement and the potential use of military forces around elections.
In August, Slotkin formally asked Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Joint Chiefs Chairman Gen. Dan Caine to guarantee that federal troops would not be sent to polling places or used to seize election materials.
Then came a significant response.
Gen. Dan Caine confirmed that the U.S. military had no plans to deploy federal military personnel or federalized National Guard members to polling places during the 2026 elections, and no plans to seize ballots, voting machines or other election materials. He also said he had neither received nor expected to receive an unlawful order concerning the military's role in the election.
At the same time, a separate battle is unfolding over mail-in ballots.
The Trump administration and USPS have pursued new rules involving information about mail-ballot voters. Slotkin has argued that changes to the voting process should not be controlled unilaterally by the executive branch, and on September 9 she joined a bipartisan-group-free Democratic Senate amicus brief challenging the rules in court.
Her background makes the warning particularly notable. Before serving in the Senate, Slotkin worked as a CIA analyst and Defense Department official and served three tours in Iraq.

California Governor Gavin Newsom is widely seen as a potential Democratic candidate for the 2028 U.S. presidential election. While he has not officially announced a campaign, Newsom has said he is seriously considering a run after the 2026 midterm elections.
Known for his outspoken opposition to Donald Trump and his growing national profile, Newsom is positioning himself as one of the Democrats’ most prominent possible contenders. However, he would still face a competitive primary field and scrutiny over California’s record on housing, homelessness, and the cost of living.

Folks we have been scammed again and it’s going to happen in the midterms too, oh just you wait it’s going to get way worse. It worked in a presidential election and now it’s going to work in local elections you wait and see.
American actor George Clooney expressed regret this Wednesday at the Venice Film Festival that his country has turned into a "kakistocracy" — a state "ruled by the least qualified people." However, he predicted that "with a little luck," a certain normality will return in 2028, the year of the presidential election.
"I am usually very optimistic, but yes, I think we are going through an unfortunate moment. Although I believe we are going to overcome all this," the actor stated at the press conference prior to receiving an honorary Golden Lion tonight.
President Donald Trump weighed in on the upcoming FIFA World Cup match between the United States and Belgium with a remark that quickly went viral.
Trump joked that if Belgium defeated the U.S., they could be proud of the victory-but added that he would say the match was "rigged," referencing his previously stated views about the 2020 U.S. presidential election. The comment drew widespread attention online, with reactions ranging from amusement to criticism.
The remarks added another headline-making moment to the excitement surrounding the World Cup and sparked discussion across both political and sports communities.
Football, politics, and another viral Trump moment.

Donald Trump is an American businessman, media personality, and politician who became one of the most polarizing figures in modern U.S. history. Before politics, he was widely known for his real estate empire, branding ventures, and his role on the reality TV show The Apprentice, which helped shape his public image as a bold, outspoken dealmaker. In 2016, he entered the political arena and won the U.S. presidential election, presenting himself as an outsider who challenged traditional politics with an "America First" approach.
His presidency was marked by strong support from his base and intense criticism from opponents. Trump focused on tax cuts, deregulation, strict immigration policies, and reshaping U.S. foreign relations, while his communication style-especially his frequent use of social media-kept him constantly in the spotlight. Even after leaving office, he has remained a dominant force in American politics, continuing to influence public debate and political movements. Love him or dislike him, Donald Trump's impact on politics, media, and culture is undeniable.
Brazil just denied visas to two senior officials from Trump's State Department. The reason: it concluded they were flying in to cast doubt on its election.
The two men run Washington's Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor. They planned to land in Brasília this week for meetings about "election integrity."
Brazil read the itinerary and reached a different conclusion.
Officials there say the delegation's real purpose was to discredit the country's voting system ten weeks before its presidential election. One of them called the trip a "renewed attempt to politically exploit the situation and undermine the electoral system."
Some context on that voting system. It's electronic, verified by biometric ID, and counts the whole country in hours.
International observers rank it among the most secure on Earth. When Jair Bolsonaro spent 2022 insisting it was rigged, audits and courts found nothing.
Bolsonaro lost that election, tried to overturn it anyway, and is now in prison for plotting a coup.
His son Flávio is running against President Lula in October. Trump backs him. Flávio and his brother visited the White House in May.
And Trump has spent a year punishing Brazil for prosecuting the father. He hit Brazilian goods with tariffs and called the coup trial a "witch hunt."
The newest tariffs, up to 37.5 percent on thousands of Brazilian products, took effect Friday.
The visa denials came the same day.
The State Department insists the trip was routine and called any suggestion of a ploy "a baseless lie."
Brazil has heard that before. In March, it revoked a visa for another State Department official after he concealed plans to visit Jair Bolsonaro.
Americans know this playbook. Claim fraud before a single vote is cast. Demand audits of machines that keep coming back clean. Refuse the result if your side loses.
Brazil watched its own president try it. He is in prison.
The election is October 4. Trump's delegation is not invited.
Whatever Donald Trump says tonight, only one person has tried to rig a presidential election in this country. That person is Donald J. Trump.

The privilege of voting belongs to American citizens, and securing our elections means protecting every step of the process from registration to casting a ballot.
Pass the Save America Act! There is nothing racist or hateful about it.
Other countries do it.. Mexico 🇲🇽, for example, has more rigorous standards to be able to vote. Mexico implemented voter identification laws after the controversial 1988 Presidential Election between Carlos Salinas de Gortari and Chauhtemococ Cárdenas, in which the election had been rigged. In the aftermath of this fraudulent election, the Federal Electoral Institute was created to help the public trust the voting process, and a national voter ID was born.
