I accidentally got into a fight online about my experience, not my belief. Which is weird AF. And annoying. Especially as I'm rocking the Rona.🤦‍♀️😩 It had me thinking about the difference between experience and belief, and a problem I run into with students when talking about belief and when something ceases to be belief and turns into incontrovertible fact. And then I was thinking about my own journey.🤔 Evidence is necessary for me to come to a conclusion and hold it. That is how I've come to my principles, after questioning and examining, and tearing them apart, as well as careful direct spiritual experience. So, for me, I wouldn't say they are beliefs. For me, they are facts. They are true. They are Divine law. And that means other people are wrong. 😎🤷‍♀️ It's extremely unpopular to say that out loud. To admit this. Especially in the woo space. And also, it's honest. I don't know everything. Clearly. But about spirituality, and that which I've explored deeply, I'm confident in my principles and knowledge. I also don't feel the need or desire to prove things. Because I don't need people to believe in my principles except for these: 👉Each person is Divinely intended as they are. 👉Each person is loved and... 👉Your purpose is to be yourself, as best as you can be. 👉Live with love.
