Hi friends! Lets make a VOX music video! Using a snippet of the cover of the song "BRIGHTER," we will explore a post-Season 2 sequence that answers the burning question: What happens to Vox in season 3? A takeover for sure 😉 We need a team of artists! 1️⃣ The PA to Union Pipeline: Don’t let your ego kill your career before it starts. Getting your foot in the door as a Production Assistant is a masterclass in set logistics. Simply being in the room, anticipating needs, and outworking everyone else is exactly how I got my union card. Be present. 2️⃣ Master the High-End Gear: You can’t always control who hires you, but you can control your technical value. Learn the gear you want to be around. If you want to shoot high-end commercials or features, know the menu systems of an ARRI Alexa Mini, understand the color science of a Sony Venice, and know how to flawlessly build out an FX6 rig. When an AC needs a hand, you want to be the one who knows exactly how to step up. 3️⃣ Personality > Portfolio: Your reel gets you the gig, but your attitude gets you the referral. You are going to be stuck on a soundstage for 14 hours a day with these people. If you can’t manage stress and keep the energy positive, your camera specs do not matter. Be someone people actually want to be around. 4️⃣ Greenlight Yourself: Stop waiting for the phone to ring. If the opportunities aren’t there, utilize your resources and build your own table. Shoot the spec commercial. Build the passion project with your friends. The industry pays attention to people who are already moving.
