Been wanting to make a deadlift wedge for a while and after fighting my bandsaw for a bit yesterday (frozen bearing 🤦‍♂️) I cranked one out. A quick test during my morning workout confirms that it won't explode with a heavy weight on it so it's going on the site! Any other combinations of wood I should consider?

While a wedge can get very stuck in the upright, we designed our pull tab longer than than the wedge itself so that way you can hit it out with a 5lb plate if you needed to. Yes a wedge can be annoying, but it’s just one way we can keep the cost of the rack down instead of having and expensive machined or cast lever arm! 👉 Find the rack that matches your style and gym. A little Update to the first Stone Lifting Trainer, built on the experiences of @big.wintz and @fi.w.star I’ve increased the amount of finger space available, and added little feet both to protect the wood, and give a little more room. when you receive one of these, it will come in two pieces the main platform, and the loading pin itself. This is to minimise the amount of packing it takes and help keep costs to an absolute minimum for you. I will also supply it with some very hefty screws to hold it all together . Another update I’ve gone for is to stick with the natural wood colour and lack of that as opposed to painting. You can still have yours painted if you’d like, but that will have to be an extra because it takes days! Available now for £160 plus shipping 💪🏻 This particular one is made for @aspiringstonelifter over in the US. (Thanks for your patience while we fixed the Lathe!) #deathgripstrengthtools #stonelifting #handmade
