The last public speech of Prophet Muhammad was delivered during his final pilgrimage in the year 10 AH at Arafat on the ninth day of Dhu al Hijjah. This sermon is authentically reported in multiple sound narrations and is known as the Farewell Sermon. In this address he declared the sanctity of human life property and honor. He abolished pre Islamic practices of usury and blood revenge beginning with cases from his own family. He emphasized good treatment of women and clarified mutual marital rights. He taught that all humans are equal regardless of race or ethnicity and that superiority is only through righteousness. He instructed Muslims to hold firmly to the Quran and his Sunnah and asked those present to convey his message to others. He concluded by asking the people to testify that he had delivered the message and invoked God as witness. Soon after this sermon the Quranic verse announcing the completion of the religion was revealed which scholars understand as confirmation that this was his final comprehensive public address. Authentic references include Sahih al Bukhari in the Book of Hajj Sahih Muslim in the Book of Hajj Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal and Sunan al Tirmidhi all of which contain sound narrations of this sermon.
Why do we repeat Surah Al Fatiha in every rakah?
Al Fatiha is not just words we repeat. It is a direct conversation between you and Allah in every rakah.
The Prophet Muhammad a said that Allah said:
I have divided the prayer between Me and My servant into two halves, and My servant will have what he asks.
When the servant says:
“Alhamdulillahi Rabbil Alameen” (All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds)
Allah says: “My servant has praised Me.”
When he says:
“Ar-Rahman ir-Raheem” (The Most Merciful, the Most
Compassionate)
Allah says: “My servant has extolled Me.”
When he says:
“Maliki Yawmid-Deen” (Master of the Day of Judgment)
Allah says: „My servant has glorified Me.”” (In another narration: My servant has entrusted his affairs to Me.”)
When he says:
“lyyaka na’budu wa iyyaka nasta’een” (You alone we worship and You alone we ask for help)
ALLAH says: “This is between Me and My servant, and My servant shall have what he asked.”
When he says:
“Ihdinas-siratal mustaqeem, siratal-ladheena
an’amta, alayhim ghayril-maghdoobi, alayhim wa lad-daaalleen”
(Guide us to the straight path...)
Allah says: “This is for My servant, and My servant shall have what he asked.”
This is why Al Fatiha is repeated in every rakah.
Because every time you recite it, you are speaking to Allah, and Allah is responding to you.

Many view premature gray or white hair in their teenage years with insecurity or worry, yet in Islamic tradition, gray hair carries a sacred light and honor. Prophet Muhammad ﷺ spoke of white hair as a light (Noor) for a believer on the Day of Resurrection, symbolizing dignity, early wisdom, and a reminder of life’s passing nature. When you understand the spiritual depth behind it, what felt like an imperfection turns into a blessing that connects your youth directly to remembrance and divine reward. Wear your journey with pride and let every strand remind you of your purpose in this world. 🤍“Gray hair is the light of a believer on the Day of Resurrection.” (Hadith)
The Prophet Muhammad a said:
“Whoever says this seven times in the morning and seven times in the evening, Allah will suffice him in all that concerns him in this world and the Hereafter.”
حَسْبِيَ اللَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَهُوَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ
(times 7)
Meaning
“Allah is sufficient for me. There is no god except Him. In Him I place my trust, and He is the Lord of the Mighty Throne.”

Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib — cousin and son-in-law of the Prophet Muhammad, the fourth Caliph, and one of the most quoted voices in Islamic philosophy. Centuries before “living in the present” became a wellness slogan, he was already naming the exact trap most of us fall into: destroying today by fearing tomorrow, then destroying tomorrow by grieving today.
That’s the man in this image — sitting in the dark, back against a wall that’s watched by cameras that never blink, while the only warmth in the frame, an open door, sits just a few feet away. He’s not locked out. He’s just not moving toward it. That’s what worry does — it doesn’t take the exit from you, it just makes you forget to walk through it.

Prophet Muhammad
The birth of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was the beginning of a mercy that would reach far beyond his time and place. Born in Makkah among the Quraysh, he would grow to become the Messenger of Allah, bringing the final revelation and calling humanity from darkness to the worship of the One true God.
His birth was not simply the arrival of a child, but the beginning of a life that would transform hearts, societies, and history. Allah says, “We have not sent you except as a mercy to the worlds.” ﷺ His life teaches us faith, patience, mercy, justice, and devotion to Allah, and remembering his birth should lead us to know, love, and follow the Prophet more deeply.
🎬: The Message (1976)
The Message (1976) is a historical epic directed by Moustapha Akkad that portrays the origins of Islam and the life of the Prophet Muhammad through the experiences of those around him. Out of respect for Islamic tradition, the Prophet is never shown or directly portrayed on screen. Instead, the film focuses on the message of faith, compassion, justice, and perseverance that transformed the Arabian Peninsula in the 7th century.
Starring Anthony Quinn and Irene Papas, the film depicts the struggles of the early Muslim community, from persecution in Mecca to the establishment of a new society built on equality and belief. Revered for its respectful approach, grand scale, and powerful storytelling, The Message remains one of the most significant films ever made about Islamic history, continuing to educate and inspire audiences around the world.
