I hardly ever watch horror movies, but I’ve always been curious about how the makeup and prosthetics work — how they completely transform a normal face and make it look like a totally different character. 👻✨ Then I got the opportunity to actually see the process up close! Seeing how prosthetics work and how the makeup team magically transforms an artist’s face was such an amazing experience. The team puts so much passion and dedication into getting every little detail ready. ❤️ Ankit Trivedi sir @artistankit.trivedi @makeupbyjigneshshah @kumar_sujeet21 @vishal.hair_makeup @imran.makeupartist @ramit_shaw_makeup_artist @heenasheikh9411 I had only heard about these things or seen them on TV before, but getting to watch the whole process from so close and actually be a part of getting an artist ready was a completely different kind of fun. 🙈✨ The Vanrakshini character was something new for us too. We were figuring out what exactly she was — was she the Queen of the forest, or someone who protects the forest? 😄 Deciding her look was a little challenging, but with @sacorina mam guidance & @rabab_manasawala , we managed to create it. It was such a different experience, and honestly, I enjoyed every bit of it! 🧚‍♀️🌿👻 It would take almost 2 hours just to get them ready. 🥹 The artists would patiently sit through the entire process for hours. Even after everyone else had packed up, the makeup team, costume team, and the artists would still stay back just to carefully collect and pack everything. 🥹❤️ So much patience, hard work, and dedication goes into creating these characters — and seeing it all up close made me appreciate the entire process even more. ✨

He played three major characters in the movie — Norbit, Rasputia, and Mr. Wong. 🤯 That meant the same actor was essentially acting against himself in several scenes, with makeup, prosthetics, costumes, and voice changes helping create the characters. And the wildest part? The art and the artist ✨ I grew up knowing I never wanted to be in the beauty industry, I didn’t think it was a clever industry to be in 😂 all the girly girls at school all went and did beauty at college and I went and studied prosthetics makeup and turned people into zombies with cornflakes and bit of paint… It worked really well 🤷🏼‍♀️🧟‍♀️ I’m not sure why I oppressed this girly side of me so much growing up!! I wanted to be one of the “smart girls” but guess what, YOU CAN BE BOTH 👩🏼‍🎓😂 The beauty industry is hardcore. It is one of the top highest earning industries in the world!!
