Ricky Gervais points out something strange about religion: Most people believe the religion they were born into. If you are born in India, you are likely Hindu. In Pakistan, likely Muslim. In America, likely Christian. Almost everyone believes they happened to be born into the one true religion — while billions of others are wrong. Gervais argues that this should make us question whether belief comes from truth… or simply from where and when we were born. And if religion explains the universe by saying “God was always there,” then why could the universe itself not have always existed? #rickygervais #atheist #religion #atheism #god #philosophy #science #criticalthinking #debate #truth #existentialism

Pope Leo XIV: “Do not use political categories to speak about faith.” He also describes peacemakers as people who build bridges instead of walls and choose dialogue over division. It’s a reminder to slow down the way we rush to sort everything into political boxes. Not everything we believe or value fits neatly into “left” or “right,” and when we force it to, the conversation often becomes smaller instead of more meaningful. #Politics #Faith #Religion #PopeLeoXIV

Van Halen rose to international fame in the late 1970s with a sound that blended hard rock, glam energy, and virtuosic guitar work. After the release of their self-titled debut album in 1978, the band quickly gained global attention, especially for Eddie Van Halen’s groundbreaking guitar techniques like two-handed tapping. Songs such as “Runnin’ with the Devil” and “Eruption” became rock staples, helping them break into markets across Europe, Asia, and South America. By the mid-1980s, especially with the massive success of the album 1984, Van Halen had become one of the biggest rock bands in the world, selling out international tours and influencing countless musicians worldwide. #southpark #religion #vanhalen #reels #animatedplanet

The more you know 💫 Growing up Catholic I had NEVER seen or heard of The Nazarenos. While they look ummm similar…. I learned here they wear those hoods to symbolize penance and humility. It hides the wearer’s identity so the act is between them and god. Travel makes you cultured but this one got me good 😅 #spain #holyweek #cultureshock #granada #religion

As Christians, it’s important to remember that two things can be true at the same time. We can OPENLY and STRONGLY stand against the violent, *demonic spirit* behind Islam and work to keep it from infiltrating our society. (You’ll see prophetic voices do this often as it is a part of their assignment.) AND we can also LOVE Muslims and work hard to share the truth of the gospel with them so they can be saved and set free! (You’ll see evangelists do this often as it is part of their assignment.) Every Christian can and should do BOTH in the ways The Spirit leads them to! Thank you, @martinsedra for standing for always standing for TRUTH and RIGHTEOUSNESS. 🔥 . . . #culture #religion #islam #christianity
