When Pac got shot, fear turned into action. We drove to Vegas, armed, and stood guard outside his hospital window, watching every car, every person. We were just kids then, but we held it down, determined to make him proud. #Pac #Outlawz #HipHopHistory #Loyalty #Protection #RealStories #90sHipHop #HoldingItDown #Friendship

MARCH 29, 1996 Pac showed up in full army fatigues, leather fingerless gloves and his favorite structured cap looking like a five-star general ready for war. The reason? The Notorious B.I.G. and Diddy were in L.A. for the Soul Train Awards and reports said Pac and @officialsugeknight planned to rush the stage during their live performance. #losangeles #usa🇺🇸 #harlem #pizza #orange

Mad late smh 😩 but….30 years ago All Eyez on Me by 2Pac dropped and changed hip-hop history as the first double-disc rap album. This was actually my first full listen front to back, and what surprised me the most was how strong the production is. Daz Dillinger, DJ Quik, Johnny J, and even DeVante Swing helped shape the sound of this project. Listening back made me double down on something I’ve always felt — Pac was an average lyricist, but the production on this album is incredible and often feels like the real star. There’s also a noticeable shift in how he talks about women compared to earlier records like Brenda’s Got a Baby and Keep Ya Head Up. On this album the tone feels more aggressive on songs like All About U, How Do U Want It, Wonda Why They Call U B****, and Thug Passion. Sadly, this would be Pac’s final album released during his lifetime before he was killed later that year. Favorite Bside: Heartz of Men Favorite single : I Ain’t Mad At Cha What’s your favorite song off All Eyez on Me? #2pac #hiphop #westcoast #deathrowrecords
