#GunsNRoses #WelcomeToTheJungle #Slash #RockNRoll #AtlasDoRock

Released in 1987 on Mötley CrĂŒe’s Girls, Girls, Girls, “Wild Side” became one of the defining songs of the band’s most chaotic era. It opens with Mick Mars’ razor-sharp guitar attack before Vince Neil’s vocals crash into the track, backed by Nikki Sixx’s bass and Tommy Lee’s explosive drumming. But underneath all that attitude was something darker. Nikki Sixx built the song around a twisted, rebellious take on the Lord’s Prayer. The lyrics weren’t simply about partying and rock ’n’ roll—they reflected the uglier side of life on the streets, greed, violence, addiction, and the world Sixx saw around Los Angeles’ Sunset Boulevard. Sixx later described the song as a distorted version of the Lord’s Prayer. And then there was the music video. Directed by Wayne Isham, the video captured Mötley CrĂŒe exactly as people expected them to be: loud, reckless, theatrical, and completely out of control. The footage was shot during a 1987 concert in Indianapolis, with the band performing the song twice so cameras could capture the madness from different angles. One of the most unforgettable elements was Tommy Lee’s massive rotating drum setup, which turned the performance into more than just a concert—it became a spectacle. The video helped push “Wild Side” further into MTV’s heavy rotation and cemented its place in the CrĂŒe mythology. #MotleyCrue #WildSide #GirlsGirlsGirls #RockNRoll #80sRock

🎾 Steelheart began as Red Alert in Connecticut, with vocalist Miljenko Matijevic, guitarist Chris Risola, bassist James Ward and drummer Jack Wilkenson. Frank DiCostanzo later joined on rhythm guitar and John Fowler replaced Wilkenson. After the band traveled to Los Angeles, secured a deal with MCA Records and found new management, they changed their name to Steelheart. Their self-titled debut arrived in 1990, featuring Matijevic, Risola, DiCostanzo, Ward and Fowler. The album reached No. 40 on the Billboard 200 and was certified Gold in the United States. “I’ll Never Let You Go” became their biggest U.S. single, reaching No. 23 on the Billboard Hot 100, while “She’s Gone” became particularly successful internationally. Steelheart followed it with Tangled in Reins in 1992. On October 31 of that year, Matijevic was struck by an improperly secured lighting truss during a concert, suffering serious injuries to his face and spine. The accident brought that period of Steelheart to an abrupt end while Matijevic underwent a lengthy recovery. Matijevic returned with a new Steelheart lineup for Wait in 1996. The album included “We All Die Young,” a song later featured in the 2001 film Rock Star. Matijevic also supplied the singing voice for Mark Wahlberg’s character Chris Cole in the film. Steelheart later released Good 2B Alive in 2008 and Through Worlds of Stardust in 2017. #Steelheart #ClassicRock #Guitar #HardRock #RockNRoll

Pure electricity. INXS live never missed. âšĄïž That groove, that voice, that swagger — still hits just as hard. There’s something about watching INXS live that still feels electric decades later. The moment the band locks into that unmistakable groove, everything else fades — the lights, the crowd, even time itself. Michael Hutchence moves across the stage like he owns every inch of it, voice dripping with that signature mix of raw desire and effortless cool. Behind him, the rest of the band is locked in tight: Kirk Pengilly’s sharp guitar lines, Andrew Farriss driving the keys and rhythm, Garry Gary Beers holding down the bass, and Jon Farriss keeping the whole thing swinging with that crisp, danceable groove that made INXS impossible to sit still to. Last but not certainly least, we can’t forget lead guitarist Tim Farriss with his unmistakeable groove and unmatched swagger who kept the band in tight rhythm throughout each performance. This isn’t just a performance — it’s a reminder of why they stood out in a decade full of big rock acts. They had the swagger of rock stars and the precision of a band that could make a stadium feel intimate. Watching them now still hits the same way it did then: pure charisma, tight musicianship, and that rare ability to make every song feel like it was written for the exact moment you’re hearing it. Some bands you listen to. INXS you feel. #INXS #LiveMusic #MichaelHutchence #RockNRoll #ClassicRock
E Collier nĂŁo parou por aĂ: ainda mostrou trechos de “Welcome Home (Sanitarium)” e “Wherever I May Roam”.
