DIE ZÜGELHILFE –
Sanfte Kommunikation durch eine feine Reiterhand.
Grundsätzlich sollte die Hand niemals nach hinten ziehen. Eine rückwärts wirkende Hand fühlt sich für das Pferd unangenehm an und führt bei regelmäßigem Einsatz schnell zu einem abgestumpften, harten Maul sowie zu einem verspannten Rücken – da die Bewegung nicht harmonisch durch den Körper weitergetragen wird.
Die Reiterhand sollte stets vor dem Sattel bleiben. Die Zügelhilfe wird idealerweise mit den Fingern, nach oben oder zur Seite eingesetzt – niemals nach hinten, außer beim Rückwärtsrichten, wenn der Zügel sich natürlich zurückbewegt und das Pferd diesem Signal folgt.
Letztlich beruht die Zügelhilfe auf einem feinen Zusammenspiel aller Reiterhilfen – einschließlich Gewicht und Schenkel – um eine möglichst präzise und einfühlsame Kommunikation zu gewährleisten.
