Back in the day, when we left home after graduation, there was no life 360. My parents heard from me when they heard from me. Now we freak out if we can’t see where our kids are (ok, maybe I should say “|”) It probably would have been easier for me if I had taken my son off of life 360 when he left for college, but I felt a peace knowing I could see he made it back to school without me texting him (I promise | wasn’t a stalker ) We raise our sons to become men who leave us to become the head of their own household. He is doing great things and I am excited for him and all his future will bring. My momma heart is happy and sad at the same time and I think other moms who have gone through this will know just what I mean. @life360 #motherandson #relatable #raisingsons #sons

She was trying to protect me.” But this only happens if the relationship survived the hard years. ‼️Here’s the part that hurts moms the most: When he pulls away, it feels like rejection. To him, it feels like survival and growth. So when moms chase… lecture or panic… It doesn’t feel loving to him.
