On 28 April 1981, Ozzy Osbourne and Randy Rhoads stepped into Channel 31 Studios in Rochester, New York, to film a promotional performance for the After Hours TV show. What followed became one of the most iconic pieces of guitar footage ever captured. Randy’s performance of “Mr. Crowley” is still studied by guitarists more than four decades later, and many fans consider it one of the greatest guitar solos ever recorded on film. Knowing he would tragically pass away less than a year later at just 25 years old makes this footage even more special. Is this the greatest guitar solo of all time? 🎥 Video credit: @cloakofvirtue #RandyRhoads #OzzyOsbourne #MrCrowley #Guitar #GuitarSolo HeavyMetal RockHistory

This is one of my favorite guitar solos, but man is it tricky. Killer phrasing and deceptively fast. Randy Rhoads was a friggin beast 🤘🏻 . . . #randyrhoads #ozzyosbourne #mrcrowley #guitarsolo #guitarcover

On this day, we remember Ozzy Osbourne—the legendary Prince of Darkness whose voice and vision helped shape heavy metal forever. Long before he became a global icon, Ozzy’s partnership with guitarist Randy Rhoads produced some of the most influential music of the genre. Their appearance on the television program After Hours on April 28, 1981, captured the duo at the height of their creative power, delivering unforgettable performances of classics like Crazy Train, Mr. Crowley and Suicide Solution. Today, that footage stands as one of the finest surviving documents of one of rock’s greatest collaborations. The performance carries even greater emotional weight today. Randy Rhoads tragically lost his life less than a year later, while Ozzy continued to build one of the most remarkable careers in rock history. One year after Ozzy’s passing on July 22, 2025, fans around the world are celebrating his life and legacy, with his hometown of Birmingham marking the occasion with the first official “Ozzy Day.” More than four decades after this unforgettable performance, the chemistry between Ozzy and Randy remains a powerful reminder that true legends never fade

BTW o solo de Beat It tb é insano. Vou tirar esses dias e fazer um vídeo. Que Deus me ajude kkk 🙏🏻
