Finishing up writing the last song of my next solo album today, had a lot of fun writing this one and got to go to a bunch of places that are new to me. The new spot is so inspiring and there’s still so much more to come. There’s still a lot to do for this record even though the writings done but I just want to say to anyone who’s still listening to Isometric and The Daily Sun, thank you.

Your instruments and collection of sound makers are your actors. You still have to give them something to say. You can write to an actor’s strengths. You can write to push an actor into uncomfortable territory. You can work together like collaborators. If find yourself always dependent on hiring a new actor for inspiration, try starting with the script and see if you have anything interesting to say on your own. “Sketched” is out today 🎧

The keys on ‘It’s Been Fun’ 🎹🥹 Watching these parts come to life in logic was such a moment. Stacking chords, adding melodies and finding the pockets in between added so much colour and movement ✨ Can’t imagine the song without these textures! . . . #logicpro #MakingOf #StoneFruit #recording #independentartist
