What Are You Afraid Of? I’m serious. Sit with that for a second. It’s probably not failure. It’s probably not success either. For most women I work with, it’s this: being seen. → Seen trying before everything looks polished. → Seen wanting more when you’ve already “done what you were supposed to do.” → Seen changing… knowing people will notice. I’ve lived this. There were seasons I stayed quiet- not because I had nothing to say, but because staying invisible felt safer. Because once you’re seen, there’s no hiding behind 'someday'. No waiting until you feel ready. No rehearsing courage in private. And here’s what I learned the hard way: Confidence doesn’t come first. Visibility does. I didn’t move forward because I felt fearless. I moved forward while I was unsure, still healing, still figuring it out. That’s why every #WonderWomanWednesday, I’m asking the same question: What are you afraid of? Not to call you out. To call you forward. You don’t need all the answers. You just need honesty. And yes- honesty is exposure. So let me ask you, genuinely: Where are you holding back because staying comfortable feels easier than being seen? If this hit, don’t overthink it. Drop a comment. One word. One truth. You’re not the only woman standing at this edge. 💛 #WomenInPower #Reinvention #JenniferPerri #NextLevelYou
Retirement is not your identity. You’re far more interesting than that. It’s time to start answering differently. So tell us—how do you respond when someone asks, “What do you do?” #retired #retirement #womenover50 #womeninbusiness #reinvention
Everyone thought I was having a midlife crisis when I left my life in the UK to go to South America. Usually it’s the other way around. People leave South America for Europe for more opportunities. But my family is originally from Chile. I was born in Sweden and grew up in England. People used to ask me, “Where do you feel like you’re really from?” In 2022 my life fell apart. I lost my father and went through a painful breakup. I felt completely lost. So I asked for a sabbatical from my hospital job (with the intention of not returning) and travelled the world. 15 countries later, including Camino de Santiago, the Himalayas, and eventually South America — something changed. When I arrived in Chile and Argentina, I felt something I had never felt before. For the first time in my life, I felt completely at home. Every cell in my body felt alive. After that trip I kept returning to Chile every year, especially the south — Patagonia. I just couldn’t stay away. Eventually the feeling of being stuck in a career that felt unfulfilling in London became stronger than the fear of leaving. So when I signed up for a marathon in Patagonia last September, I made a decision. Instead of asking work for three weeks off… I quit. I packed my life into storage and got on a plane to Chile. I don’t think I’ve ever felt freer getting on that plane. But life doesn’t always turn out the way we imagine. Right now I’m back in Sweden, living with my mum at 38 while I sort out my citizenship so I can maybe move to Chile. I’m considering it. Some days I ask myself… Am I a failure? I thought by now I’d be in a loving relationship, maybe married to the man of my dreams and a mother. But maybe following your intuition isn’t about getting everything right. Maybe it’s about having the courage to listen to that voice inside you — even when you don’t know where it will lead. Have you ever followed your intuition? What happened? Comment ‘TRANSITION’ if you’re in a season like this… I’d love to hear your story. #starting over #quitmyjob #travelstory #reinvention #storytime

“We’re all just walking wounded — some of us just have better jewelry.” — Gloria Loring Heard this 30 years ago and never forgot it. 🤍 Every woman has a story. Every woman has scars. The ones who thrive aren’t the ones who avoided the pain — they’re the ones who learned to wear it beautifully. Tag a woman who carries her wounds with grace. 👇
70 years. 3 decrees. 9 reinventions. And I’m still finding my rhythm. Turns out, the “plan” was just a suggestion. 🎾✨ #startingover #reinvention #70andkicking #innerchild
I think one of the biggest lies we’re told growing up is that you have to pick one dream and stick to it forever. Like if you change your mind it means you quit… or you failed… or you didn’t want it badly enough. I get commitment. We need it but also sometimes the dream that once made perfect sense for you doesn’t anymore. And no, that doesn’t mean the time you spent chasing it was wasted. You probably had some awesome experiences that you can tell your grandkids about one day and now you understand a little more what actually matters to you. You’re allowed to evolve, and so are your dreams. Personal growth isn’t always about pushing harder toward the same exact thing forever and always. Sometimes it’s about having the self-awareness to admit when your dreams are evolving. Pretty Messy Human out everywhere now 🎙️ #personalgrowth #mindsetshift #dreambig #reinvention #growthjourney

I heard someone say: “Midlife is becoming who you were at 16 again… but liking her this time.” And honestly? I think she’s right. If you’re in your “starting over / starting truer” era… welcome. You’re not behind. You’re *becoming.* What are you reclaiming this year? #EngineerYourLuck #CreateYourDreams #Reinvention #NewChapter #BecomingHer
Chris Pratt (born June 21, 1979) is proof that transformation is possible — on and off screen. Before fame, he was living out of a van in Hawaii and waiting tables. His big break came with Parks and Recreation, where his humor and charm made him unforgettable. Then he shocked Hollywood with a physical and career transformation in Guardians of the Galaxy. Chris Pratt didn’t just change roles. He changed levels. His strength isn’t just acting. It’s discipline, faith, and reinvention. He didn’t let his past define him. He built a bigger future. #ChrisPratt #GuardiansOfTheGalaxy #LevelUp #Reinvention #StayHungry
I’ve never really said this out loud... My dad was somebody in Lebanon. Really somebody. And then he came to Australia and had to start all over again, from nothing, as no one. I used to wonder what that does to a person over time, slowly detaching from who you were, from the version of yourself that felt whole and known and seen. Whether you ever really find your way back, or whether you just learn to live with the distance from yourself. I think in many ways, losing that identity quietly killed something in him. Not all at once, but gradually, in the way that happens when nobody around you knows who you really are or who you used to be. It’s only through my own work in personal branding that I started to understand just how profound that loss actually is. Your identity isn’t just how you present yourself, it’s the foundation of how you move through the world, how you value yourself, how you recover when everything around you changes. And I started wondering what growing up inside that did to me too. Which parts of who I am are truly mine and which ones were shaped by his quiet grief? It’s a little too deep, but I thought maybe, just maybe others may have just felt this too 🤍 #grief #lebanon #immigrantchildren #family #reinvention
