Apparently if you don’t floss, you’re gambling with your life. Didn’t know dental string held this much power.

Becoming a WFH mom forced me to set rules.
Not just for productivity but for balance.
Rule 1️⃣ - Watch my Reaction -
If my daughter interrupts, I pause - not panic.
Meetings matter.
Deadlines matter.
But she does too.
So I don’t react with frustration. I take time with my reaction and then I respond with intention.
Rule 2️⃣ - Build flexibility into my workday
I start earlier. I extend when needed. I rearrange tasks.
Not to prove myself or to anyone.
But to make both roles sustainable.
Rule 3️⃣ - Not to hide my motherhood at work
If she walks in during a meeting, I acknowledge it.
If I need a minute, I say it to my colleagues. Basically I communicate
Professionalism and motherhood are not opposites.
Rule 4️⃣- Measure delivery - not hours
I may operate differently than before.
But I focus on outcomes now.
Not appearances.
Soul Friend, 🌿✨🪬
If you live with complex PTSD, your brain didn’t fail you.
It adapted—early, intelligently, and with love for your survival.
Let me explain this gently.
Deep inside the brain is the amygdala. 🧠
Think of it as your smoke alarm.🚨
Its job is to notice danger and react fast.
When a child grows up in an environment that feels emotionally unsafe—
not always because of abuse,
but because safety was unpredictable—
that smoke alarm learns to stay extra sensitive.
Then there’s the hippocampus. 🧠
This is the part of the brain that helps store memories and understand time.
When stress is constant, the hippocampus can struggle to sort past from present.
That’s why old feelings can rush in and feel current, even when you know you’re an adult now.
And at the front of the brain is the prefrontal cortex.🧠
This is the part that helps with thinking things through, calming yourself, making decisions, and staying present.
It’s also responsible for executive functioning—things like focus, planning, and emotional regulation.
When the brain is stuck in survival, this part goes offline.
Not because you’re broken—but because your body is prioritizing protection over logic.
This is how people with complex PTSD end up living in fight, flight, freeze, or fawn.
The brain learned early that staying alert was safer than relaxing.🧠
None of this means you’re damaged.🥺
It means your nervous system learned what it had to learn.
And here’s the hopeful part:
the brain is changeable.🧠
With safety, understanding, and compassion, these systems can soften and rewire.

Timothée Chalamet Wore a Hidden Earpiece in the Final Scene of Call Me by Your Name.📽️
Timothée Chalamet intentionally aligned his performance with the melancholic tone of Visions of Gideon, allowing him to react authentically to Elio’s heartbreak. This occurred during the long, unbroken final shot, where Elio processes his emotions while his family prepares for Hanukkah in the background. Chalamet confirmed in the film’s DVD commentary that the music influenced his performance in real time, rather than being added afterward.
Luca Guadagnino wanted the emotion to feel lived-in rather than performed, and feeding Timothée Chalamet the song Visions of Gideon in real time is a perfect example of that philosophy. Instead of acting “to memory” or imagining the music, Chalamet is reacting physically and emotionally to something happening in the moment.

How can I describe more properly 😢
My teacher ask me to write the reason that why noble gases don't react with other elements of periodic table. So, I draw this sketch in which I represent the noble gases as Muslims Muslims to explain more properly. But my teacher don't understand it.

When I pull out this “racket” to smash, how will my friend react? 😆🏸 Captured with #OsmoAction6, every sharp drop shot is crisp, smooth, and just a little ridiculous. Would you dare take me on in this challenge? 🥄🔥

It took me 8 years of motherhood and 4 boys to finally accept something that weighs heavy on my heart:
My children are my mirror.
How they speak.
How they react.
How they listen.
How they treat others.
It starts with me. And their dad.
Yes, their personalities are different.
Yes, as they grow they’ll form their own coping skills.
But their core values?
Their habits?
The way they respond in hard moments?
That’s learned.
When I yell, they yell.
When I’m calm, they’re calmer.
When I’m having a bad day, everyone feels it.
When I’m grounded, the whole house shifts.
That’s a huge responsibility. And sometimes it’s heavy.
People ask why I don’t watch the news.
Because what you fill your head with fills your home.
Energy transfers.
Tone transfers.
Habits transfer.
Our kids don’t just listen to what we say.
They watch what we do.
So yes — my kids yell because I yell.
But they’re respectful because I’m respectful.
They ask questions because I ask questions.
They’re curious because I answer them.
Motherhood isn’t about control.
It’s about leadership.
And they are always watching.
Imagine being friends with someone who didnt immediately react like this when they hear this song? Ew.
The double 12 pack really does it for me @jessica.jonesss
