Do you agree with me? While we wait for Mariah’s Daydream30 Anniversary, I’m showcasing some of my favorite Mariah albums. Which is your favorite? #mariahcarey #vinylcollection #recordcollection #musicreels #countdown

Behind their colourful party clothes and sky-high beehives, @theb52sband emerged from Athens Georgia in the late 70s to become one of the most influential bands to this day. Their post-punk rhythms and campy vocal arrangements were way ahead of their time. Even today, I’d argue they’re still living in the future (or on another planet entirely tbh). The Warner & Reprise box set includes nine LPs: The B-52’s (1979), Wild Planet (1980), Party Mix! (1981), Mesopotamia (1982), Whammy! (1983), Bouncing Off the Satellites (1986), Cosmic Thing (1989), and Good Stuff (1992, 2LP) each in a new colour variant. I had some of these from random garage sale runs over the years, but treated myself to this as soon as it came out. Hard to resist this definitive collection encased in such a beautiful box (not to mention the lobster bottle opener keychain which I forgot in the video). The B-52’s – The Warner Reprise Years (2025, USA) 9-LP Box set Rhino Records – RCV1 727345, Warner Records, Reprise Records – 081227812799 #vinylrecords #vinylcollection #recordcollection #recordcollector #vinyl

Today im going to Wax Lyrical about pure magic. We all wanted to either be Turbo or Ozone... and if you didnt, you might not be ready for this post. From an iconic and groundbreaking film that was released in 1984. 'Breakdance' or 'Breakin' is a film that might have one of the greatest soundtracks EVER! Featuring music from Chaka Khan, Freeze, The Dazz Band, DeBarge, The Whispers, Junior...its spectacular, trust me. All of these legendary artists and yet we are celebrating Ollie & Jerry's 'Breakin..There's No Stopping Us'. It was their only major hit but it was the song that made us all try and back slide home or dance around a broomstick when we got there from the cinema. I did. You cannot listen to this song and not dance. You cant. I think I have to watch this film again...and listen to the WHOLE soundtrack. Again. Enjoy #waxlyrical #recordcollection #vinylcollection

We advertise our Headliner record cabinet as holding around 300 LPs, but people always ask, how many can you squeeze in? So we decided to find out. We say around 300 because we actually want the cabinet to be usable, we try to average out for some gatefolds and single LPs. So instead of under or overselling our storage capacities, 300 is the number we feel good about. But if you really want to push it… you could. Shop the headliner and other models, link in bio! #vinylcollection #recordcollection
