@officialbighalf relay team. Baton handover didn't quite go as planned 🤣 🤣…. Sweaty hands made setting off the confetti cannon and baton a bit tricky 😂. @reprunners relay team smashed it today! Runners, trainers, crowd, volunteers, and cheer zones were all fire! #reprunners #running #london #londonrunning #runningcommunity #runningcommunity #werunasone #relay #relayrace #gungho #newbalancerunning #neebalance #bighalf

100m sprint at @reprunners Sports Day. A picture can tell a thousand stories. Read on for the backstory to this picture.👇🏽 Seeing as this was the ‘first time’ I had ran a 100m sprint since secondary school, my primary goal was to get past the finish line as fast as I could for a PB. I was zoned in and laser focused on my goals, so when I heard @s_dot09 announce over the tanoy a tie finish, I ignored him. 😬 That was, until I felt the runner swiftly approaching beside me. Oops, that was when I realised he was referring to us! 😲😂 It was at that point when I broke out of my ‘bubble’ because I actually forgot it was a ‘race, race’, even though it was a race! 🤣🤣 Lol, it is funny the type of thoughts that pop into your head when running! 🤔🤭 Boom 💥 we passed the finish line and that was it, 100m sprint done. ✅ Needless to say, I did not win that tie which was 💯 fine with me. Although I was representing team @run.dem.crew, it was ultimately for fun. And running a 10k earlier with @brixtonrunnaz as part of the Long Run training sessions was a bit challenging. 🏃🏽‍♀️ This heat taught me a lot. But, the biggest takeaway was to save the best for last…start slow and finish fast. 💪🏽 This picture was a reminder that training for the @officialbighalf gave me the confidence to get here. Please sponsor me. 🙏🏽 @ageukeastlondon is a fantastic charity enhancing the lives of older people. They need our help to keep services going. 🔗 in bio to donate and follow my story. Thank you to everyone who have supported me and donated so far. 🙏🏽 💕💕💕 📸 Spectacularly captured by @caioruns #sportsday #officalbighalf #reprunners#halfmarathontraining #running #100m #100metres #ageukeastlondon

Got to take it all in. Everyone knows that the real power lies in the communities and this culture would be dry as back bread without us. Love to the super family for pulling together. The cheers were a different level this year. @thenovway @teamvertex33 @asra.club @all41runcrew @overtimeclub_ @solestriders @runderbolts @reprunners @sexypaceruncrew @blackgirlsdorunuk
