Only 3 days until our Shuckin’ in the Park Oyster Roast!! Please help us reduce single use plastics by bringing a reusable water bottle this Saturday. We will have water refill stations for your convenience.
We want to ensure a clean environment for our park, community, local wildlife, and also help prevent more plastic ending up in the ocean.
Americans purchase about 50 billion water bottles per year. By using a reusable water bottle, you could save an average of 156 plastic bottles annually!
We’re partnering with @savethebayri 🏊
A portion of our race proceeds from the Newport Sprint Triathlon will be donated to support Save The Bay in their mission towards keeping Narragansett Bay clean and accessible for all.
Growing up on the water surfing, lifeguarding, fishing, and swimming, we’re excited for this partnership and the opportunity to give back to the beautiful Ocean State!

DATE CHANGE. The Beer OAR Wine fundraiser sponsored by Cypress and Grove to raise money for Gainesville Area Rowing (GAR) has been rescheduled to Saturday March 28.
We cleaned up 230 pounds of trash from Picnic Island Park in Tampa Bay yesterday with @4ocean and winemaker Todd Graff from @frankfamilyvineyards. Always willing to go out and support a good cause to clean up our local oceans and beaches. Every one of us needs to keep an eye on how much plastic we are leaving behind wherever we go. #savetheplanet #4ocean #wine #florida #beach
Preparations for our next ROW4MND expedition are gathering pace.
Yesterday we met with @simon_rowell_weather to go through our weather strategy.
Ocean rowing has a way of punishing complacency, so there’s no room for guesswork.
We look at patterns, contingencies, what-if scenarios and what-if-what-if options.
Later in the day was prepping dehydrated meal packs with our newest crew member @garethtimminsauthor
It’s repetitive work, but it matters.
Small details compound at sea.
And tasty, comforting and densely-nutritious food matters a lot when things get rough.
Excitement is starting to build in Dale which is our start point for year 2. Thank you to our chosen charities and the local community for their amazing support.
We care deeply about the impact this campaign has on the communities it touches.
This group is committed. Clear-headed. Honest about the challenge ahead.
Confidence doesn’t come from bravado.
It comes from preparation done properly.
And alignment behind a clear mission to help those living with MND.
That’s what we’re focused on now.
T - 7 days until departure.

Sharing our precious water has been an integral part of who we are at Alive Water and what better way to do it than at the Woodbridge Warrior 5k Run! 🏃♂️
It was a pleasure to be out in the community with health-minded families to share who we are and what we do. 💦
It’s simple, pristine natural spring water with no industrial contaminates brought to the people directly from source in reusable, Italian-crafted glass jugs. ♻️🇮🇹
Supporting the youth with mineral rich water that comes straight out of the earth with the perfect mix of naturally occurring minerals & electrolytes such as magnesium, sodium, potassium, & calcium is number 1 for hydration when they pushed themselves to complete this 5k run! 🙌
Last but certainly not least, we believe it’s important to protect our youth from the hormone-disrupting effects that microplastics can have on their developing bodies. When health and performance is the priority of you and your family, Alive Water delivers! 🚚
Let Alive Water be your running partner! 💧
Thank you so much to Milton over at WHS Boosters Club, for having us as the hydration sponsor for the 1st annual Woodbridge Warrior 5k. We look forward to seeing you all next year!
Lots of love and gratitude ✨☀️✨

Newburyport’s waters just got a little stronger 🦪🌊
Through the Mass Oyster Project our Greater Newburyport Community is helping restore one of nature’s most powerful water filters. Did you know a single oyster can filter up to 50 gallons of water a day? Even better—oyster reefs help reduce shoreline erosion and create habitat for marine life.
Newburyport recently installed an oyster upweller that has been breeding 60,000 oysters, and we’ve just spread them out on Plum Island to support our river and coastal water initiatives. Our Upweller is right near the harbormaster office. This incredible work is being led by the Mass Oyster Project, the nonprofit behind the movement that began on Cape Cod. We’re lucky to have their leadership and commitment invested in our community. @oysterprojectma
Looking ahead, there’s exciting potential to expand the program with a restaurant shell recycling initiative, giving oyster shells a second life helping build new reefs.
Tonight’s event at The Firehouse was perfection—great people, great energy, and a shared commitment to protecting our waters. @firehousecenter
