I know I’ve been sharing a lot more about our personal lives lately but we’re still Riso printing over here! #risograph #risoprint

I’m just a girl in luv with color (*ᴗ͈ˬᴗ͈) riso printing is a magical medium that has put a spell over my art practice. The more I experiment with it, the more ambitious I get 🫪 And even tho she can be a cruel mistress from time to time, there is nothing like seeing all my projects come together layer by layer 🌈 if my younger self knew I spend my time playing with colors, textures and Japanese machines, she’ll be pretty giddy shoutout to my ride or die @outletpdx and our sweet girls Janet, Corita and Lil Tina 🖨️🙂‍↕️ #risoprinting #riso #thelifeofanartist #insta360lunaultra

So reviled I only do it twice a year --- riso printing our 4-color No Pony greeting card. I designed this card before I was successful lol so it was not manufactured with efficiency in mind. Lots of little details and getting four different colors lined up acceptably! Two is hard enough sometimes. A small chunk of the run is misregistered beyond usability and I've got to hover over the prints coming out and make real-time adjustments to registration as the run goes along. But this is one of my top three best-selling cards, so I think unltimately it's worth all the grief! #risolove #risographprinting #risostationery #paperlove #greetingcardmanufacturer #risograph #printmaking

I’ve been Riso printing for a looooong time simply because I LOVE IT. It’s like a cross between screen printing and photocopying, making little dots of bright coloured ink in pure layers of colour. I don’t do it myself, no way, not when there are actual professionals out there. I use: • @16tonne near Bristol • In the past used the brilliant @marctheprinters when I lived nearer Manchester. • @footprintworkerscoop are excellent as is • @risottostudio in Glasgow. I have used all of those above and hear great things about • @ceciliepress in London too Make sure to buy the wonderful Riso Print guide from @designfortoday by @bethizattt to learn more about this beautiful way to make bold, affordable prints! #riso #risograph #risographprint #louiselockhart #theprintedpeanut
