ROAD AMERICA — Not the ending we came for. 🏁
We started the race with impeccable strategy from the team and put ourselves in a position to fight.
Unfortunately, another car issue — this time related to the turbo — hindered our speed and changed what was possible for us on track.
But one thing about a race car driver… they only want to DRIVE. And they drive to WIN. Let’s be clear. 😏🏁
Hampus drove incredibly well and kept pushing, even when the desire may have been to call it a day. He stayed focused, kept a great attitude, and fought with what he had until the end.
That’s racing.
Sometimes you execute the strategy, the driver does his job, the team does its job — and the car simply doesn’t give you what you need that day.
We take the lessons, regroup, and keep moving forward.
Next up: Alabama. ➡️
And then one of the biggest races of the year — the Indy 8 Hour in October. 🏁
