Korang tau tak saya down bila saya cycle keluar dari bandar Makongolosi dan tiba-tiba jalan tar bertukar jalan merah! Haha saya ingat mungkin dalam 10-20km aje rupanya bila saya semak dekat google sampai Bandar Itigi jalan merah. Lebih kurang 350km! Pergh rasa macam layuh dari Selangor ke Johor lalu jalan merah. Orang kampung cakap bas amik masa dua hari kot nak travel 350km ni hahaha!
Tapi kebaikan jalan merah ni tak banyak traffic so seronok aje kami kayuh. Cuma bila lalu bas atau truck memang sakitlah sebab depa ni laju lepas tu fushhh berterbangan debu pada kami.
Setiap 25km mesti ada kampung kecil so tak ada masalahmana nak makan, mana nak top up air. Orang kampung pun ramah dan eksaited bila nampak kami. Paling tak boleh tahan bila ada yang panggil kami 'Cina.. Cina..' kemudian try ajuk-ajuk cakap Cina. Sebabnya banyak orang dari China di Africa jadi mereka ingat semua foreigner tu dari China atau cakap bahasa cina.
Dekat Tanzania ni local memang tak cakap english, diorang cakap bahasa swahili. Terkejut juga kami sebab di Malawi kebanyakan orang boleh cakap basic english tapi dekat Tanzania ni nombor dalam english pun dorang tak tahu.
Inilah sedikit sedutan routine kami berkayuh di Tanzania di laluan Makongolosi - Rungwa - Itigi. Nasib baiklah kami kayuh basikal tak bolrh hadam kalau naik public transport lalu jalan ni.
