💡Eresfjord is a village in Molde Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. Approximately 450 inhabitants reside in the village. The village is located along the river Eira between the Eresfjorden and the lake Eikesdalsvatnet. The mountain Skjorta lies just to the east of the village.

This summer the sun haven’t visited us that much in Romsdal, so the days he shows up we need to get up to the summits! Today it was a nice slow-long-jogging-scrambling day with @colinthornton1 in one of the great traverses home with this absolutely fav trail section in the middle. Now time to pack to go west.

The Romsdalen gondola is Norway’s first gondola built on sustainability principles. Just up from the town centre of Åndalsnes, and surrounded by the famous Romsdal mountains, you will arrive at the top of Nesaksla mountain, at 708 metres above sea level.
Here you will get a 360-degree view of the impressive Romsdalshorn, Vengetindene, Åndalsnes town centre, lush valleys and the emerald green Rauma river awaits you at the top.
We advise to take the hike up (there are several amazing spots along the way) to work up your appetite, enjoy a meal at the top in a restaurant and take the gondola down☺️

Last Saturday I did a nice climbing link up here in Romsdal, and between the different climbing routes there were not many trails but mostly rugged terrain like this, not many “”””runnable””” parts…
