⸻ DR RON KENOLY : STEWARDING GODS ABUNDANCE.This was Apostle Isi’s private invitation —her personal seat at the @drronkenoly ‘s table, a one-on-one, a God-given opportunity for impartation. And yet, although this was a space that was truly her own, she chose to open that door and invite me in. She made room for me in what could have been a private experience, and I’m deeply grateful for that. I spent most of the journey from Lagos asking God how to navigate the experience—what questions to ask and how to have a listening heart—because I felt like I needed Him to clarify so many things about the music .And I’m forever grateful to Dr. Diane Kenoly because she helped me with exactly this. She helped me put my thoughts together in a way that allowed me to take in everything that Dr. Ron had to share. It’s been a year since that day, and everything about how I live my life has changed from that single meeting. At the table, it was beautiful to see Dr. Ron Kenoly be so open, so humorous, so real, and so anointed. He shared everything. He cried. We cried. Our hearts were set on fire for God all over again. It was incredible to witness his humility—watching him quietly listen as Apostle Isi broke down Scripture, even though he was twice her age. I’ve never seen anything like it. Never experienced a day like that. Just a couple of days ago, I received the flyer with the details of Dr. Ron’s memorial. My heart broke when I learned that he had passed, as I had hoped to share with him how deeply that meeting had impacted me. Seeing the memorial details made me realize it had been exactly a year since that day. God bless you, Dr. Ron, for everything you shared and for changing my life. I know you’re already enjoying heaven. And God bless you, Dr. Diane, for such an amazing experience. We will never forget. #ronkenoly

Yesterday, as I landed in Canada, I received the heartbreaking news that my dear “Uncle Ron,” Dr. Ron Kenoly, had passed away. This has been deeply emotional, and I’m at a loss for words to fully express how much he meant to me. I had the profound privilege of knowing him personally. He poured into me in ways I’ll never forget, through deep conversations, thoughtful voice notes, and invaluable guidance on both the art and business side of worship. Because of him, I’m a better worship leader today. His mentorship shaped my growth in ways that go beyond music, he helped me navigate the industry and business with wisdom and grace. I am forever grateful for how much he invested in me. We will miss him profoundly. The world will miss him. But on a personal level, I will miss him dearly. Uncle Ron, you were a blessing to the body of Christ and to all who knew you. Rest in peace, sleep well. I know you’re leading a song in the heavenly choir. Rest well, Uncle Ron.
