According to decades of research, around 67% of children in the U.S. develop a secure attachment a foundational emotional bond created when a caregiver is consistently responsive, present, and nurturing (Ainsworth et al., 1978).

• Secure attachment is even linked to lower rates of depression and anxiety, and improved cognitive and social development.
