Our managers showed up in solidarity with artists, crews, producers, writers, and technicians to support the call to fix the DTIC Film & TV Incentive. This incentive is not a luxury. It is a lifeline. It protects local jobs, attracts international productions, and keeps South Africa competitive on the global stage. When the industry shows up together, it sends a clear message: We care about fair systems. We care about livelihoods. We care about the long-term health of our creative economy. If your buyout is structured like local broadcast but distributed globally, the maths does not align. The industry has shifted.�Contracts must shift with it.
