“What has been is what will be, and what has been done is what will be done, and there is nothing new under the sun.” Ecclesiastes 1:9
Do not let the darkness of this world distract you from the mission.
Keep your eyes on Him.
Seek first the kingdom (Matthew 6:33). ✝️
Heavenly Father,
I thank YOU that YOU are persistent in Your patience with me. Do not let me fall away but give me strength to continue down the path of righteousness YOU have established, and I will not fear what the future holds. I will rejoice in the restoration YOU have promised for YOU have sustained me with Your goodness and righteous love. I depend on YOU, my Father, to keep me safe and to deliver me with Your presence at the revelation of Your kingdom. Treat me as a beloved son, O LORD, so that I will not be led astray. I glorify YOU for Your many mercies and faithful love, and then the day of Your appearing, I will rejoice with the nations at the wedding feast of The Lamb. It is with hope I pray this to YOU through the Grace and Mercy of Your Loving Son Jesus, Amen. ✝️🌿

“GODS Discipline Is Proof”
Most people are moving.
Few are being led.
It’s easy to chase direction.
It’s harder to surrender control.
I don’t want to just go somewhere.
I want to be guided.
Are you driving…
or are you being led?

Keep the Kingdom of God
You probably think that's a typo, right? 😉
Nope, it's not.
For weeks now, I've been pondering what it really means to seek the Kingdom of God. How does it translate to day-to-day life?
Jesus says the Kingdom is "near," "among you," or "within you." When I surrender everything I am and have to God, I become a citizen of the Kingdom of God, and the King(dom) now lives within me.
So why seek something that's already yours?
"Seek" in this context means to pursue, like a longing or desire. Or, as I translate it to myself: to keep. Keeping the Kingdom of God close, like a precious treasure (Matt 13:44).
What do you do with a treasure? Well, for one thing, you don't let it out of your sight!
You keep it close to you, and you definitely don't want to lose it.
It's like that with the Kingdom. It's not just another check on your priority list. It means that in all you do, you now act like a citizen of heaven. Like a friend of God. Not just like a servant, but a friend.
Why? Because "a servant doesn't know his master’s business" (John 15:15). But friendship involves revelation—God revealing His heart, His intentions, His works—for the sake of the friendship.
And with a Friend like that, you don't have to worry about anything (though I remind myself of that every day...😇).
Let all you do and say reflect that you're a friend of God. Only a true friend knows the heart of the Father. If we do that and act like it, then we can truly say the Kingdom of God has arrived here on earth.
It's a big deal to God, this "seeking the Kingdom." How do I know that? Jesus told us He had REALLY been looking forward to this song. (In fact, when I let Jan hear my new song, Jesus joined her and sat beside her; I don't think I've ever witnessed a more reverent moment. I can't describe it; it was beautiful...)
Every time Jesus shows up like that or when we hear Him say things like that, we know we can expect great things and blessings to happen to everyone who will listen (send us your testimonies!).
When you listen to this song or watch it on YouTube, take a moment to invite Jesus to join you and ask Him what it means to be a friend of God.
Romans 7:19 ("For I do not do the good I want to do, but the evil I do not want to do—this I keep on doing"
A gentle reminder for my fellow believers…
Let’s redeem the time.
God has given us beautiful things to enjoy: our families, our homes, our work, our hobbies. And we should enjoy them with gratitude.
But may we never forget why we’re here.
We are here to serve our King.
To tell others about Him.
To live in a way that points to Jesus and their need for salvation.
May our lives reflect Him in all we do.
In the middle of laundry, carpool, and long days …how are you keeping your eyes on Him?
Heavenly Father,
When I consider the glorie of Your promises and think about the result in store for those who despise Your instruction, I renew my devotion to Your Good Kingdom and persist in cultivating a righteous spirit within me. I look to YOU to strengthen me with Your own Spirit and draw me down the path of righteousness. Fill me with the desire to finish strong and not be distracted with what success others seem to have in their lives. I will be satisfied with Your reward, Heavenly Father, and I glorify YOU. YOU are supremely aware of the activity of people in the earth and the ways they arrogantly seek prosperity and defiance of Your call to humility. Strength in my desires and seal my resolve to put my hope fully in Your Kingdom. I pray this to YOU with hope and love through the Grace and Mercy of Your Loving Son Jesus, Amen. ✝️🌿
