Who knew soil could be this interesting!! 🤣.. The boys have recently been enjoying the soil study they started last week.. Starting with our own back garden soil, the boys placed it in a jar with warm water and gave it a shake to see what it comprised of.. Drawing diagrams of the different layers, taking measurements and making charts at 30 mins.. 12 hours and 24 hours.. it was so fascinating to see all the different layers! We have also been collecting more samples from different places we have been to recently so we can compare the results.. Sometimes learning can come from the simplest of things..
