Put this on your list of must try spots of 2025! This is @edsdelicatessenedwardsville in Downtown Edwardsville and WOW. Every bite we had was delicious. I got the turkey sandwich on focaccia and it was amazing. The kids meals were also fantastic. Best bologna I’ve had in a long time and a big improvement from the bologna of my childhood (with the red ring around it? You know what I’m talking about l). Plus they had a case full of amazing desserts and rotating specials. Edwardsville has some really great spots including @edwardsville_childrens_museum, @goshencoffee and the newest location of @polishedprints! Their pizza is one of my favorites and is a big hit with my toddler. They’ve got a kids menu that includes more than just the basics, they have high chairs and accommodating staff! Two tips: order your kids food first so you can enjoy apps and cocktails while they eat. And go early. First off, it’s easier to get a table, works better with a kids schedule and you’re less likely to bother a whole restaurant of people if your kids happen to be loud.
