Student athletes — don’t leave scholarship money on the table. These 3 need to be on your radar: • Evans Scholarship — full tuition + housing • NSHSS Student Athlete — $2,000 • BigSun Athletic — $500 And there are SO many more athlete scholarships out there. I use the Scholarly app to find scholarships that actually match the student instead of searching for hours. Comment LINK and I’ll DM you the details. #scholarships #studentathlete #collegescholarships #collegebound #scholarly
1. Treat warm-ups like training How you start = how you perform. We need to wake up our engines to signal it’s time to perform. 2. Learn your position inside and out Watch pros. Study movements. Know your role. 3. Track your development Write down: strengths, weaknesses, goals. Don’t guess. Measure. Data. Data. Data. 4. Build a weekly routine Same lift days. Same recovery days. Same study time. Consistency wins. *PS- just had 3 1:1 coaching spots open up. If you want to snag one and are interested, dm me REP to set up a free intro call* 5. Train your weakness daily I challenge you to figure out your weaknesses before each season so you know what to focus on. Some examples could be technique, nutrition, or even mindfulness. 5–10 minutes a day of intentionality compounds. 6. Learn how to fuel yourself Not dieting. Fueling. Food = performance. 7. GRADES >>>> EVERYTHING This is #7 but I personally believe this is the most important one. if you want to make it you MUST prioritize your academics. Treat it like training because it is. The best athletes are the ones who are the most elite in EVERY category and you must push yourself to learn, study, and balance athletics and academics. You are a student athlete after all, even if you’re a professional you are always learning something! 8. Respect sleep like practice Late nights steal talent. I use a whoop (not sponsored) to track my recovery insights and the additional data has been a lifesaver. 9. Mental. Game. I used to think this just meant “staying positive” or “being confident.” The coolest thing is that you can train your mind just as hard as your body. It’s cliche but the mental game is truly everything, especially if you want to get to the next level. Good thing that’s exactly what I focus on here :) If you’re doing 5+ of these already… You’re ahead. Share it with a teammate or someone who needs to see this. +1 mental rep! study advice i needed as a student athlete at 15, not 23. real talk. as student athletes we do not have time to sit in the library for 6 hours. we need to study the least amount of time possible and still get the best grades possible. that only happens if you have a system. this one took me 2 to 3 years to build at cornell. it took me from a 2.7 gpa my first semester to a dean’s list engineer while playing d1 baseball. you are getting it here for free. please actually use it. here it is: weekend. use sq3r on the upcoming material and write down every knowledge gap you have. not notes. questions. before class. quick refresh so the material is warm. in class. front row. you already know what you do not understand, so you are listening for those answers. when the professor hits that part of the lecture, one of two things happens. they answer it and you write it down, or they explain it in a way that still does not click and you raise your hand and ask the clarifying question. now the gap is closed before the homework even starts. right after class. close your notes. you should not be able to see them. brain dump for 3 minutes. every answer you remember, every equation, every concept. think of it like a file transfer from what you just heard into long term storage. spaced repetition. you come back to it. homework and normal test prep will do most of this for you if you are consistent. that is the free sauce. do that and you buy your time back for practice, lifts, film, and sleep. the test prep side of this lives inside my playbook and it is about to launch to the public. comment WAITLIST and i will send it to you. i already know what we need as student athletes. i lived it.

1: Getting into a full blown argument about doing some extremely stupid and unproductive workout that your coach gives you 2: Eating fast food with your teammates after a soul crushing practice and it turning into the best meal imaginable because you’re all so hungry 3: Being yelled at by your coach in front of the whole team after goofing off with friends while they’re talking 4: feeling a slight twinge of pain in your shoulder, deciding it’s nothing, then working through it and ending up making it into a full blown injury 5: eating the same meals every single day and thinking you’re going insane but you’re actually just hella locked in 6: sleeping through your alarm and completely missing morning practice If you made it this far, consider following me for more! I’ll be posting everything of what being a student athlete REALLY is like.
