This Is What Can Happen When You Bet on Someone! When I met @supamanhiphop (Apsáalooke "Crow" rap artist), I saw the potential in him right away. So I bet on him and signed him to Red Vinyl Records. I paid for him to go to recording school—and even gave him $ and bought him a bike so he could get around and make it happen. I put him on my album The Life and Times—his first time ever in the studio and then took him on tour with me. And now, years later, he’s still doing his thing and been making major moves in Indigenous hip hop. I’ve never been blind to what it means to show up for someone.
