We were proud to support the inaugural Health on the Streets (HoTS) Charity Ball held on Saturday 28 February at the stunning voco Hotel, Gosford. Bax Audio Visual was honoured to sponsor the event and provide the audio-visual production for the evening, helping bring together community leaders, businesses and supporters for an inspiring night dedicated to improving healthcare access for people experiencing homelessness on the Central Coast. Hosted by Coast & Country Primary Care, the event raised over $35,000 to support the Health on the Streets program, which delivers nurse-led, trauma-informed healthcare directly to people experiencing homelessness and severe disadvantage in the region. It was a fantastic evening filled with powerful speakers, incredible entertainment and a community united around an important cause. We beat of stiff competition to take home the 'Staffing Solution of the Year' trophy - recognising the seismic impact of our Volunteer to Career (VtC) programme. A partial solution to the NHS's long-standing workforce challenges, VtC has helped hundreds of people discover fulfilling healthcare careers through structured volunteering - including as healthcare assistants, midwives, mental health support workers and assistant physiotherapists. To date, we've worked with over 70 partners to deliver VtC at scale. But with Health Service Journal's seal of approval, we're just getting started!
