Here’s what I told them. It’s the only vacation I’ve been on where I wasn’t ready to go home by the end of it. We stay in Seacrest Beach, right between Alys Beach and Rosemary Beach, and honestly the location alone makes it. You can walk or bike to two of the most beautiful towns on the coast without ever getting in the car. The beaches are unlike anything I’ve ever seen. Bright turquoise water, soft white sand, and somehow it never gets old no matter how many times you see it. Every town has its own personality. Rosemary feels elevated and luxurious. Alys is architectural and dreamy. Seacrest is perfect for families. And Seaside is just a short drive away with the laid back beach town feel everyone loves. The food scene surprises people every time too. Fresh seafood, beach bars, outdoor dinners, and coffee shops like Fonville Press that make you want to slow your whole morning down. It’s family friendly in the best way. Bike trails, green spaces, live music, and outdoor restaurants that actually make it easy with kids instead of stressful. And it photographs like a dream. Pastel homes, white architecture, palm trees, turquoise water… every corner looks postcard worthy. It feels elevated without being flashy. Luxurious without being loud. And every single time we leave, we come home feeling like ourselves again.
