Low effort and super high reward! 📍Seebensee & Drachensee Here’s some things to know before visiting: 🚠 Optional: Take the Ehrwalder Almbahn up to Ehrwalder Alm (16€ one way or 25€ return) or hike from the lower station which will add about 400m in elevation gain to your hike 🥾 The hike from the upper station to Seebensee is pretty easy. Can even be done with a stroller or bicycle. About 2 hours to Seebensee but only with slight elevation. To get further up to Drachensee, you will have about 45 mins of uphill hiking. Totally doable but definitely more strenous than the previous part. You will arrive at Coburger Hütte, which overlooks both lakes and can walk down to Drachensee from here. 🍴 Coburger Hütte and Seebenalm are two locations where you can get some food and drinks + enjoy the view! 🚗 You can park your car at Ehrwalder Almbahn for 5€ per day or also get there by public transport. You can swim at both lakes but the water here is COLD even in the middle of summer, but perfect to cool off ater the hike. It can get quite busy here in summer, espcially on weekends and holidays, so avoid these if you can and try to go relatively early in the day. #drachensee #austria #mountainlake #hiking #tyrol

Painful but worth it 🤣 📍Seebensee, Austria 🏨Stay in the town of Ehrwald 🚡Catch the cable car to the train head (€17) 🕐 Hike 5.6km for 2 hours one way (the full round trip + time at the top took us 6 hours including the 🥾) 🥾You can also hike a further 300 meters elevation in less than a km (Very steep) to get to the Coburger Hutte where you can buy food and drinks with an epic view! 👉 Send this to someone you’d do this with! #seebensee #austriatravel #europetravels #traveldestinations #travel

🥾🏞️🦮 2 Seen-Wanderung in Österreich: Seeebensee & Drachensee 🤍✨ 📍Startpunkt: Ehrwalder Almbahn, Fahrt mit der Gondel oder hoch zu Fuß zur Ehrwalder Alm. Von hier aus ca. 5km richtung Seebensee. Erfordert festes Schuhwerk, beinhaltet Höhenmeter ist aber mmn nicht super anspruchsvoll ✨ 📍Ziel: Seebensee Die Wanderung bis hierhin + der See sind wunderschön!! 🏞️💭 Auf dem Weg hierhin ist auch eine Alm bei der man einkehren kann 🥰 Von hier aus kann man aber optional noch ca. 300 Höhenmeter steil und steinig bergauf zum: 📍Ziel 2: Coburger Hütte und Drachensee Das ist aber definitiv nicht zu unterschätzen. Die View ist zwar toll aber ich persönlich würde es nicht noch mal machen und auch nicht zwingend empfehlen! 🙈 Wir haben den selben Weg zurück genommen und hatten am Ende ca. 15km & 5,5h auf der Uhr und außerdem eine ganz tolle Wanderung hinter uns!🫶🏼🏞️🐶🌞 Inspo für die Wanderung hatte ich von @michelleeschenk - schaut da unbedingt mal vorbei 🤍🤍 #tirol #zugspitze #seebensee #drachensee #ehrwald
