A viral story claims that a mysterious book was discovered deep beneath the ocean...
And some people online say it came from another universe.
Sounds incredible, right?
But here's the problem...
There is no verified evidence that such a book exists.
The story appears to mix real scientific concepts with simulation theory and multiverse speculation.
For example, the double-slit experiment really does demonstrate strange quantum behavior—but it does not prove that reality is a computer simulation or that objects can come from another universe.
The same goes for déjà vu and the Mandela Effect.
They're fascinating psychological and cultural phenomena, but there is currently no scientific evidence showing that they're glitches in reality.
So...
Could a book from another universe really be sitting at the bottom of the ocean?
There's no reliable evidence that it happened.
The mystery may be entertaining...
But sometimes the most important part of a strange story is knowing where fact ends and fiction begins.
Disclaimer: This video discusses an unverified viral claim. There is currently no credible scientific evidence that a book from another universe has been discovered in Earth's oceans.

Clip from my conversation with Peter McCormack (@mccormack555) | The Simulation Theory is Becoming More Real: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2kTfGr57toE
The clip comes from The Katie Miller Podcast, a long-form interview series launched by former communications adviser Katie Miller in August 2025. The show features conversations with politicians, business leaders, athletes and other public figures, focusing on topics that extend beyond headlines into technology, culture, work and personal beliefs. Elon Musk appeared on the podcast in Episode 18, released on December 9, 2025, where he discussed subjects ranging from artificial intelligence and simulation theory to social media and innovation.
The Katie Miller Podcast has attracted attention because it combines conversational interviews with rapid-fire personal questions that often encourage guests to share opinions they do not usually express in traditional media appearances. Episodes featuring high-profile figures such as Elon Musk frequently generate viral clips on social media, where short excerpts are widely reposted and debated. The format’s mix of long-form discussion and easily shareable moments has helped individual comments reach audiences far beyond the podcast itself.
“if a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?” is directly tied into the simulation theory 🙂↕️

Kanye West has spent years sharing one of his most unusual beliefs: that reality itself could be a simulation. In interviews and public appearances, Ye has questioned whether the world we experience is actually what we think it is, turning a philosophical idea into one of his many unpredictable public discussions.
The simulation theory itself isn’t unique to Kanye. Philosophers and scientists have debated versions of the idea for years, most famously through philosopher Nick Bostrom’s simulation argument, which explores whether an advanced civilization could theoretically create simulated realities containing conscious beings. There is currently no scientific evidence proving that we are living in a simulation.
What makes Kanye’s perspective so interesting is the certainty with which he discusses ideas that remain impossible to prove. Whether it’s philosophy, technology, or reality itself, the question continues to raise a strange possibility: what if the world around us isn’t quite what we think it is?

Simulation Theory (Nick Bostrom):
The simulation hypothesis suggests that our reality might be a constructed simulation—running on some form of computational substrate.
The Scientific Evidence That Reality Is “Simulated”:
1. Quantum Pixelation
At the Planck scale (smallest possible unit of measurement), spacetime appears to be pixelated—not continuous. Like the pixels of a screen.
2. Information-Based Reality
Physicist John Wheeler coined “It from Bit”—suggesting that the universe is fundamentally information, not matter.
3. Observer-Dependent Reality
Quantum mechanics shows reality doesn’t have definite properties until **observed**—as if the system only “renders” what’s being looked at (like a video game engine).
The Deeper Upgrade:
Most simulation theory imagines: External simulation → We’re characters inside it → We have no control
But consciousness science suggests something more profound:
The “simulation” IS consciousness.
Not:
• Running ON a computer
• External to you
• Deterministic/fixed
But:
• Consciousness experiencing itself as form
• Information rendered by awareness
• Responsive to the programmer’s input
You Are The Programmer:
If reality is consciousness-based information that responds to the observer:
Your subconscious beliefs = the code being run
Your identity = the programmer’s default settings
Your nervous system state = the rendering quality
Your assumptions = the input commands
The circumstances of your life are the rendered output of your subconscious programming.
When you change the code (reprogram your subconscious), the simulation renders differently.
This isn’t metaphor. This is the logical conclusion of quantum mechanics + consciousness science + information theory.
You’re not trapped in the simulation. You’re the consciousness writing it.
Comment CODE if this expanded how you see reality.
