A home is allowed to change. I’ve been sitting with that thought a lot lately. ✨ I love a considered space. Styling everything just so, chasing the light, moving an object three times until it finally feels right. It’s my little hit of visual dopamine and I’ve stopped apologising for it. But underneath all that care, there’s something slower going on. I choose pieces for the long run, things I hope will stay with me for years. And when they don’t, when my taste shifts or something stops fitting the life I’m actually living, I’m learning to let it go without the guilt. Some things have stayed simply because I’ve always loved them. Others I’ve sold, gifted or passed on to someone who’s drawn to them now, the way I once was. And that feels completely right. A curated home and a lived-in one were never opposites. Mine is both, and it keeps growing up alongside me. No judgement. Ad I believe the hallway should try and set the tone for the rest of the home.. Our hallway desperately needed some love and life breathed back into it and so, with some beautiful new wallpaper from @borastapeter and a feminine touch I feel we’ve created a space that feels warm, cosy and welcoming which is exactly how I want everyone to feel when they walk through the door. This is the Little Oak Design in Red which is a little nod to our countryside surroundings. I love it! Slow design has taught me that the pieces we love most are often found over time, not all at once. My husband surprised me with it for Christmas, and after a meager six months, she if finally up in all of her glory! Slow design is a good thing. Waiting for that perfect piece brings excitement and joy like nothing else. When I came home last week to this hanging over my table, I burst into tears!! Isn’t she beautiful?!

1. We don’t chase fast trends We design pieces that work now, next summer, and three summers from now. 2. We don’t use plastic fabrics Natural fibres breathe and age beautifully, and feel better on skin (and on the planet). 3. We don’t design for one wear. Our pieces are made to live in. 4. We have great suppliers but don’t aim for perfect finishes. Texture and character is the real coastal uniform. 5. We don’t over-produce. Less waste, more meaning behind every drop. 6. We don’t separate style from sustainability Looking good and doing better can coexist. It’s not a compromise anymore. 7. We don’t design for ‘Instagram only’ moments If it can’t handle sand, salt, sun, and long days, it’s not our vibe! 8. We don’t rush the process Slow design, considered materials, pieces that get better with time, just like coastal living.
