The service at the Holy Trinity Cathedral in Kingston was beautiful and filled with so much love. They say your legacy lives on through the people you touch along the way… well my brother, you touched so many. The cathedral was packed with people who came from all over the world — singers, musicians, songwriters, producers, dignitaries, friends, family, and people from every walk of life — all gathered to celebrate you as you truly deserve.
Sly, I will forever be grateful for the music we created together. Your genius, your rhythm, and your motivation helped carry me across the globe, and I will always hold that close to my heart. 🎶
🙏🏾❤️💛💚🙏🏾
My friend, you will always be around me wherever I go, because you are someone who taught me so much. Even when I can’t talk to you on the phone anymore, I will still call on you.
Rest peacefully in Zion, King. Please say hi to Robbie and all of our brothers and sisters.
Blessed love always. 🙏🏾❤️💛💚🙏🏾

I remember when I gave you an interview and you said that was the best interview you ever had, you said that you felt like you were sitting on your couch having a conversation. Today we have lost one of the greatest musician in music. Uncle Sly Dunbar a true legend.
Sly and Robbie were very influential in Sugar’s early career. They were all like brothers. Sugar would share many stories of Sly, touring, recording in the studio etc. Sly was a genius and a perfectionist.
Thank you for all that you did, always sharing knowledge with us, always encouraging us to be great. You will be missed.
Condolences to all families and friends of this great legend 🙏🏽❤️💛💚🎵
