ਇਹ ਤਕਨੀਕ ਨਾ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਪਾਣੀ ਦੀ ਬਚਤ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਸਗੋਂ ਮਿੱਟੀ ਦੀ ਉਪਜਾਊ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਵਧਾਉਣ ਅਤੇ ਵਾਤਾਵਰਣ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਦੂਸ਼ਣ ਮੁਕਤ ਰੱਖਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਸਹਾਈ ਹੈ। ਬਿਨਾਂ ਅੱਗ ਲਗਾਏ, ਪਰਾਲੀ ਨੂੰ ਮਿੱਟੀ ਦੀ ਖਾਦ ਬਣਾ ਕੇ ਖੇਤੀ ਕਰਨਾ ਹੀ ਅਸਲ ਸਿਆਣਪ ਹੈ।
