Today we used a blot painting technique to make beautiful symmetrical butterflies. To make these, have your kiddo paint one side of the butterfly cut out, press together, and open to reveal symmetrical butterfly wings. Once it’s dry add a picture of your child or simply leave it as is.

Pressed Flower Suncatcher Garland made from plastic window packaging and yogurt pot lids! 🌼
This is a lovely idea I adapted from a craft in @sibster book!
You can use so many different materials including contact paper!
To add stick your flowers on add a mix of a little water with mod podge & add whichever you like to each suncatcher! If you'd like to make your own compostable glue check out @northwoodsfolk recipe 🌿
You can make it like a garland or hang long wise like I have! I also used a small piece of drift wood to hang mine up!
