Get stick bugged lol :D I promise I will repeat this video every time I find another stick insect! This was just a tiny nymph, so not certain on the species but I'm guessing Didymuria violescens, Spur legged plasmid This baby was easy to spot because it was sitting on a hand rail post, but you can see the second I place it back into the grass it almost completely disappears, showcasing that truly incredible camoflauge! Have a great rest of your day! Keep on dancing like this little fella (they do this to look like a stick swaying in the wind as they walk) #entomology #insects #insectsofinstagram #bugs #bugsofinstagram

Assassin Bug I came across while out and about… Per the internet— Assassin bugs are predatory insects known for ambushing and killing prey by injecting a paralyzing toxin and digestive enzymes through a sharp beak, liquefying the insides for consumption. They are beneficial garden predators, eating pests like aphids and caterpillars, but can deliver a very painful bite to humans if handled, so they should be observed, not touched. Key features include long legs, a narrow head, and a distinctive, needle-like mouthpart. #insect #bug #assassinbug #freebirdbrad #roadtrip
