☀️ Did you know that not all Sun Salutations are the same? They may look similar, but each style has a unique purpose and philosophy. Here’s the difference: 🔥 Ashtanga Surya Namaskar • A dynamic, continuous flow synchronized with the breath. • Builds strength, stamina, cardiovascular endurance, and mental discipline. • Perfect for those who enjoy a physically demanding and energetic practice. 🌿 Hatha Surya Namaskar • Slower and more mindful, with time to settle into each posture. • Focuses on correct alignment, flexibility, balance, and breath awareness. • Ideal for beginners and anyone looking for a calm, balanced practice. 📐 Iyengar Sun Salutation • Precision comes first. Every posture is practiced with careful alignment and stability. • Poses are often held longer, and props may be used to improve accessibility and understanding. • Excellent for improving posture, body awareness, and building a strong foundation. ✨ Different styles. Different experiences. One timeless practice. There isn’t one “best” Sun Salutation. The best one is the one that matches your intention, your body, and your stage of practice. 👇 Which style do you connect with the most? 🔥 Ashtanga 🌿 Hatha 📐 Iyengar ❤️ Save this reel to compare these styles later. 📤 Share it with someone who thinks every Sun Salutation is the same. 🧘 Follow @arvind_a.j for more yoga knowledge, traditional practices, and mindful movement. #SuryaNamaskar #SunSalutation #AshtangaYoga #HathaYoga #iyengaryoga YogaByArvind Follow the participants:- @arjunbisht_8449 @suyash.fit_

Have you mastered the ashtanga yoga Sun salutation Surya Namaskara A already? If you haven’t take a look at my reel from a couple of days ago. Super easy to follow. Now the second step is to master sun salutation B. Samasthiti equally standing basically implies attention. Whenever you hear it you come to the front of the mat. It should be: 1. Ekam, arms up, inhale 2. Dve, fold forward, exhale 3. Trini, look up half way, inhale 4. Catvari, step or float back, bend your elbows, exhale 5. Panca, upward dog, inhale 6. Sat, downward dog, exhale 7. Sapta, right foot forward. Warrior I, inhale 8. Astau, send your front foot back, bend your elbows, exhale 9. Nava, upward dog, inhale 10. Dasa, downward dog, exhale 11. Ekadasa, left foot forward, warrior I, inhale 12. Dvadasa, front foot back, bend your elbows, exhale 13. Trayodasa, upward dog, inhale 14. Caturdasa, downward dog, exhale 15. Pancadasa, step or float forward, look up half way, inhale 16. Sodasa, fold forward, exhale 17. Saptadasa, come up all the way, arms up, inhale 18, Samasthiti, arms by your side , exhale And although technically 18 is Astadasha, however traditionally because it is Cunningham to the top of the bar posture, we call it samasthiti not astadasha. Hopefully this helps with your teaching and also practicing. Ask any questions. Now support me grow by following and sharing🤩.

Practice Chair Sun Salutation A. If you can’t run right now, walk. If you can’t do standing Sun Salutations at the moment, do them seated. The most important thing is to keep moving. *Scoot forward to the edge of your chair *Step your ankles under your knees, legs at a 90 degree angle *Inhale when you bend back (spinal extension) *Exhale when you bend forward (spinal or hip flexion) #sunsalute #chairyoga
If you’ve ever played my songs to teach the sun salutation, or get your little ones to sleep, or calm the classroom at rest time, or rock out in the car…thank you. 💕 Every time you stream (or better yet, buy 😁) a track or an album, it supports my work and that’s how I get to keep creating new music, books, and resources for you! ✨ If you have a favorite song of mine, I’d LOVE to hear what it is. 🎶 🌟🥁 #kidsmusic #kidsmindfulness #peacefulpandas #thankyou
