Shine your light ✨
Ironically, while I was painting the sun, there was barely any sun or electricity in the city, so the video quality isn’t as good in some parts as I would’ve liked 🌞

I usually paint animals and plants, but when I studied at an art college and academy, I had to learn how to draw people. I don’t really paint them realistically anymore, but that experience still shapes the way I work today. #tempera #traditional_art #illustration #artgirl

From Lines to Presence - The Creation of icon of Saint Nicholas Revealed
This video reveals the full journey of creating an icon of Saint Nicholas, where each step builds meaning and depth. From the first lines to the gradual layering of color, the image slowly takes form with intention and care. Every brushstroke adds structure, expression, and character, reflecting both tradition and personal craftsmanship. The process is steady and focused, showing how a simple surface becomes a sacred image. By the end, you can see how patience and technique come together to shape an icon that feels complete, balanced, and alive with presence.

What seems opposite and incompatible actually gravitates toward each other, creating balance and harmony. Light needs the dark to be seen, and the dark needs the light to show its depth.
