A couple years ago I went to the dermatologist for my yearly and while I was there I asked if she could remove a few skin tags on my neck from my necklace.
I had 2 at the time and she said that they charge per every 10 skin tags, and recommended to just use tea tree essential oil on them instead.
I already had tea tree at home so I was so happy for a simple solution, I applied tea tree to each skin tag twice a day and after about a week and a half I scratched my neck and a skin tag just came off so easily (no pain!).
As an aromatherapist and someone who’s very big on essential oil safety, this is the ONLY time I recommend using an essential oil without diluting it with a carrier oil.
Oil safety:
- avoid putting near eyes/eye lids
- do not let your pet lick the oil off you
- patch test before using
