Released by Universal Pictures and Illumination in 2018, The Grinch is an American computer-animated Christmas comedy film based on Dr. Seuss’s classic 1957 book How the Grinch Stole Christmas!. The story follows the Grinch, a grumpy green creature who lives alone on Mount Crumpit and plans to steal Christmas from the cheerful residents of Whoville. Film konusu - Whoville kasabasında yaklaşan Noel heyecanıyla hazırlıklar sürmektedir. Kasaba halkı birbirine en güzel hediyeleri almak için koşuştururken kasabaya tepeden bakan Crumpit Dağı’nda bir mağarada yaşayan Grinch, her Noel döneminde tekrarlanan bu çılgınca koşuşturmadan rahatsız bir biçimde aşağıdaki insanlara Noel’i nasıl zehir edebileceğinin planlarını yapmaktadır. Bu sırada kasabadan küçük bir kız Grinch’in kapısını çalar.

Jim Carrey to return as The Grinch for a sequel to How The Grinch Stole Christmas? Oh, we are already sat 🍿

🎥: How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000) | Jim Carrey as The Grinch | Christmas Comedy | 2000
This is the unmistakable moment from Ron Howard’s 2000 live-action ‘How the Grinch Stole Christmas,’ where Jim Carrey’s Grinch flips through his diary and rattles off his escalating list of grievances against the Whos, ending in the now-iconic ‘hate hate hate, double hate, loathe entirely!’ line. Carrey reportedly spent hours in makeup daily for the role, with the transformation taking over two hours to apply and about an hour to remove.
The film was a massive commercial hit, becoming the highest-grossing film of 2000 at the domestic box office despite being based on a Dr. Seuss book originally just 69 pages long. This particular ‘diary of hate’ clip has become one of the most reused reaction meme templates online, perfect for expressing sarcastic disdain about literally anything, from coworkers to Mondays.

Trees going up 👀 soon?! 🌲🌲
I like to enjoy my trees for more than a month sooooo it may be about that time! 😂😊🫶🏻 I love me some Halloween, but Christmas holds a special place in my heart because it reminds me so much of my Mama! I’ve done Halloween trees in the past so I may just do that before I transition it to the GRINCH 😅💚
